Throughout the story you'll be able to interact with other characters and follow the convent routine, mysterious murders happen inside the structure and you have the option to find out why this is happening OR you could also focus on other goals!

You'll meet the "leader" of this convent, Yaki, who's our one love interest!!
WARNING! While the game will not contain NSFW content (in the demo, at the very least), there will still be;

Now onto the question; I think I mentioned briefly before how Yaki would really love made by hand gifts from you, as example food you cooked for him, small wood carvings or also knitted clothes etc.. that's because he sees you put effort and time into that gift and he genuinely wants to cherish and appreciate it!!
OVERALL HIS REACTION IS VERY POSITIVE!! He loves gifts from you and he'd try to make something for you back.
Hello hello!! Does the church(Covent?) have a confessional? If so, does Yaki listen and give advice to people? (Also what's the weirdest thing he's listen to and had to give advice on?)
Hello!! Sorry in advance for the late reply!!
The convent does indeed have a confessional booth; sometimes people go there to seek advice from Yaki, but it is not done every day of the week. Mainly on Saturdays or Sundays the confessional booth is open for such things, THO on other days people still ask for Yaki, which kinda makes his schedule fill up with other things to do etc..
Weirdest thing he listened to? cough FOR THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW SHHHHH
I think it has to be that time a woman kept shaming herself for her impure thoughts about a certain red headed guy, went on a whole 45 pages rant on how she wants to hold hands with this person and look at the sunset together (keeping this family friendly!!!!!!). Yaki's advice on that? Cut ties with this person and he didn't go further with the conversation</3

Well!! Yaki would be pleasantly surprised, it's really sweet how you managed to try to meet up with him regardless of the little time you and he have, this is also kinda of similar to how Yaki would LOVE to have homemade food by you because that means you put actual thoughts and genuine effort in doing something for him. He appreciates that a lot.
This would also help him throughout the day since things can get stressful for him and being accompanied by you might calm him down a little!!
Is there a chance that Yaki will get along with my oc?
CAUSE LIK, JULIAN (one of my ocs) IS MAD SCIENTIST (and fallen angel but he don't want tot talk about it) AND HE'S LIKE.. CRAZY, plus if he sees Yaki, he's like "Hm, you look unique! Can I research you?" (and yes, he doesn't know what personal boundaries, he just let his curiosities in)

Also thats so interesting??!??! I LOVE MAD SCIENTISTS!! PLUS A FALLEN ANGEL TOO?? That would be such a rare case in this world since fallen angels are kinda seen as a failed creation, they don't have wings nor a halo anymore (they're basically living their lives as normal human beings!!).
BUT HONESTLY I REALLY LIKE THIS CHARACTER SO FAR AAAAA SO SO FUN
To the question of whether Yaki will get along with this person, the answer would be yes! As mentioned before, Yaki is an open-minded individual; he'll always make sure to get a good picture of the person before coming to the conclusion that they don't deserve his kindness, etc.. plus he has a lot of patience!
At first, I think Yaki would be flattered but also highly hesitant about the question; after all, this is their first times encounter, and he doesn't trust u that much.
Though Yaki would be happy to have Julian stay at the convent if he wishes!
im curious— what snake aspects does yaki have? or is it just the slit pupils + sharp teeth? (yaki fangs drive me insaneeee bro i gotta kiss him)

HI EDEN (AGAIN)!! THANK U FOR THE QUESTION!
Yaki's body naturally runs cold, IN FACT in the demo I want this aspect to be felt by the MC, you'll be able to briefly brush his hand by accident and genuinely remain stunned when it feels icy? Kinda like touching a glass of water I'd say.
For this solely Yaki seeks for warmth, even during summer he'll still be covered in the same outfit or so, since to him it really doesn't change much! I think it would also be cute to imagine that after a certain stage into the relationship, Yaki comes specifically to YOU so he can hold u in his arms since you're warm etc..
Another small extra is that sometimes Yaki's hugs might come off as suffocating. I'M NOT SURE HOW TO EXACTLY PUT IT, but it feels like he's caging you into his embrace. Which could sound pretty scary but he really means no harm!!
(HAHAHA GO AHEAD AND KISS HIM, YAKI ISNT COMPLAINING WHATSOEVER)

Apologies in advance for my ignorance, it's my first time hearing about this, so I did a little research on it! I give you my thanks since I managed to inform myself on this topic and learn more about it.
Now onto the question; Your relationship with Yaki wouldn’t change much!! He’s a fairly open-minded person and is just delighted to welcome you into the convent.
He would be aware of your disability when welcoming you in, and would make sure you had proper accessibility options (since before u enter the convent Yaki had been sent an information paper on you, with all your superficial characteristics n such).
In the canon story, Yaki doesn’t pay you much attention until you’ve taken the proper steps to earn his trust, and only then would he start to fall for you— he would treat you as any other MC, so the same would apply here.
He would ensure you were properly cared for, though!
The only major difference is how the REST of the convent may treat you, and how your work schedule may change to only duties you can perform sitting down.

WAAAA THAT'S SUPER NICE!! IM ALSO PRETTY EXCITED TO WORK MORE ON THIS AND MAKE THE DEMO!!! I wanna point out that this VN won't like totally be centered around romantic aspects, more so on investigation, adventure etc.. YOU CAN ACTUALLY AVOID TO ROMANCE YAKI IN ANY CASE!!
I have... some notes I wrote about the whole Convent and how its gonna be planned out, ITS NOT FINAL OFC!! Since I still have to fix them. But I hope these can clear up some things!!
MC schedule;
Regarding the jobs/tasks u can take up in the convent (these are old notes so FORGIVE ME IF THESE SOUND STRANGE);
1) CLEANING well ofc what do u expect? This is not only regarding the inside of the convent but also the outside, making sure everything is presentable and nothing is growing on the walls etc.. take out the trash, clean the floors, dust the shelves in the rooms, make the beds BLAH BLAH a lot of people already do this and I'd like to think there's a max on each jobs (and also a minimum)
2) COOKING, this duty also regards taking the food, cleaning it, chop chop chop, preparing the tables, serving the food BUT also the lunch and dinner (dinner is very important it's where the praying happens, why u ask? IDK I STILL HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT BUT EVERYONE HAS TO WAIT FOR YAKI TO PRESENT HIMSELF AND GIVE THEM TO GO TO START EATING)
3) HARVESTING well the garden is not gonna take care of itself MOVE ON BUD, MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS YAKI PUT OUT FOR EVERY DIFFERENT PLANT. Each section has a different way to handle it, look out for bugs or RATS that could possibly destroy this beauty of a garden and yea!!! Also keep count of the days the plants have to grow n so on
4) CLOTHES/LAUNDRY Surprisingly this is different from the cleaning work, that's because YOU'RE SPECIFICALLY assigned to fix clothes if they're broken or dirty. Wash them, scrub scrub scrub MOVE YOUR HANDS you can go outside and put the clothes to dry on those clotheslines.... you can find the materials to fix the clothes in the tailoring section of the convent (SINCE ITS YOUR FIRST DAY YOU CAN ASK PEOPLE OR YAKI EVEN FOR INSTRUCTIONS/A MAP OF THE PLACE)
5) Copy, write, read religious scriptures THIS IS MAINLY FOR REMEMBERING MORE ACCURATELY THE WRITINGS N SO ON these get sent also to other places and yea it's kinda like an economical thing??? WELL I NEED TO SEE MORE ON IT BUT YKKK this is also a good place to get to know how to write/read if u can't!
6) GUARDING duty, tho this is reserved for specific people YOU NEED TO TALK TO YAKI FIRST FOR THIS and kinda have a conversation with him, it will be up to him whenever he trusts u or not
EXTRAS INFO; you don't have to do all these jobs BUT u gain points, with these points u can perhaps have better food??? Better clothes??? Gain more popularity??? It also makes your curriculum look good or smt (you sign your name on the duty board, you show up to do your work while an instructor calls out for you and you get ticked off VERY SIMILAR TO HOW A SCHOOL CLASS WORKS YK??)
Every job has different points but I'll still work on it o777
OH AND you can do multiple jobs in 1 day!!! I'd say if you're lucky maybe 3 u can manage? LOOK OUT FOR YOUR STAMINA THO</3
If you skip the job thing then wooooooo u really think people will let that slide? If they work, YOU work as well. People snitch here SO HONESTLY I don't recommend getting punished on your first day
BUT DWWWW THERE'S ALSO BREAKS MID DAY DURING THE JOBS THAT U CAN DO!!! you can either actually rest or explore the convent a bit more? Up to u!!

I already half answered this before BUT just to add that Yaki is not directly coded to be INSTANTLY inlove with the MC, depending on your choices you can gain more of his trust and from then now develop an actual relationship! The more time u spend with him and GENUINELY try to understand his side of story, the more Yaki will be inclined to keep you to himself. He finally found someone he can rely on AGAIN, he can't let u go yet.
Overtime Yaki will be more forward on asking to spend time with you, even tho he's super busy with the convent he'll try to be free for you whenever u want!! There are times where Yaki won't be free at all— (I still have to post his schedule and also the MC schedule but I will dwdw!!) And for that he'll be extremely stressed. He didn't even get the chance to say hi to you.. how unfortunate. It's alright tho! He can always bid u goodnight after.
