anonymous asked: Can you please do a general gifset of Octavia’s face in tonight’s episode? She looked so pretty!
killian has died
death meme; accepting
She’s been called to the hospital, but when she gets there Whale refuses to meet her eyes, so she knows it’s not good. She sees the Charming’s first, but their words are muffled, slowed, and she just can’t understand them. It feels like she’s moving so slowly, like everyone around her is moving too fast. Ruffio breezes past the two, her eyes lock with Emma’s as she moves past her. She takes in small unnecessary details, like the way she’s back to her normal self, how her eyes are red, how her hand shakes as she reaches out toward Ruffio. But Ruffio disregards her, shakes off the other woman’s touch and continues walking where she knows Hook is.
They’re in the lower levels of the hospital, the morgue, but she doesn’t let herself think of that. And as she enters the cold sterile room, she finally realizes the reality of the situation. That Hook… Killian is
She takes the last few steps forward and it finally brings her right next to him. She can see the red spot on his clothes, and the gaping wound on his neck. And finally her tears come, loud high pitched heart breaking sobs. It shakes her body, makes her hunch over his still form. Because this wasn’t how this was supposed to go. Hook was never supposed to die. Slowly she reaches out, fingers brushing over his hand. It’s cold now, like his body hasn’t been circulating blood for a while now.
Ruffio lays her head on his should, his shirt absorbing her tears. Her fingers clutch onto the stupid leather jacket he’d loved so much. She can feel the other’s stares on her, watching her from the doorway. She wants to blame them, blame Emma for this. But she can’t. Becase it’s not what he’d want. He was a hero, a good guy, and so he’d had a heroes death. But it wasn’t what she wanted. She wanted her family together. She wanted Hook by her side, teasing her, being a pain in the ass. She’s lost so much, when would it become too much. Because right now, right now it felt like too much.
She pulls back eyes darting over to the personal effects sitting on the side table, now useless. Ruffio’s eyes dart to Killian’s face before going back to his personal effects. She grabs his flask, fingers tightening around the container. She offers a small broken smile, as she clutches it to her chest. ❝ You always were such a cliche. ❞ It’s whispered, a fond tone to her voice.
It’s quick to crumble though as she turns to finally face the other’s. Emma’s crying again, and David is holding Snow close to him. ❝ He’s gone… ❞ And with her cracking voice the Charming’s are moving forward, moving towards her. Her legs give out as she reaches out with one hand to clutch onto Killian’s hand. She’s curled into herself as she feels Snow wrap her in a tight hug, and David rests a hand on the back of her neck. ❝ He’s gone…. ❞ She was alone again. Even surrounded by so many people who were so kind and caring, she was alone. Ruffio had lost another family again. She had no one.

Stiles nodded and bit his lip, walking with the other. “Not trying to hide anything, Captain. Just trying to let you know I owe nothing to Pan, I am your crew now”
“Show me, don’t tell me,” Hook explained, reaching the tavern and swinging the door open. He walked through and towards the table some of his men already occupied, assuming the lad was right behind him.
“Alright you scoundrels, where’s my beer? And one for the cook’s new help,” he demanded with a laugh, motioning to the boy behind him.
This isn’t just about them. This is about me. I already destroyed my own family once, and that was hard enough. But knowing that I destroyed yours too… I didn’t know how I could live with that.
Stiles smiled and nodded looking up into his eyes, biting his lips. “I think I can make you most pleased Hook. I will make sure I earn my keep no matter what it takes”
His smile tightened some as his gaze shifted to look past Stiles’ shoulder for a brief second. “Just keep up with me crew and you’ll be fine,” Hook repeated himself with a nod before continuing towards the tavern just up the road. “As a warning, lad, I’m not a fan of brown nosers. Those who try to hard, usually have something to hide.”
Stiles nodded and smiled softly. “I can help him, Captain, i,” said Stiles looking up to Hook biting his lip, “I am sorry thatIstowed away on your ship, I just didn’t know any other way. I promise I will do whatever is asked of me to make it up to you”
While he hadn’t been to pleased to find a stowaway aboard his ship, Hook was more than willing to help a Lost Boy escape the clutches of Neverland and its amoral “king”. With a small smile, he clasped Stiles on the shoulder. “What’s done is done, lad. So long as you don’t force me to regret accepting you into me crew, all is well. Aye?”

His reassurance is a little calming, to hear him say she’s safe there, and it breaks her heart in both a good and bad way that he even raises his hand and hook to show he means no harm, that he’s so gentle with her this time. And then he speaks, and when she answers her voice is cold, truly cold, “No, I’ll end them myself.” Oh no, she thinks, and then she voices it out loud, horrified, “No. No, no.” Because she’s the Light One here, she’s supposed to stay good, to balance him, she and Merlin have a while plan built on that, she bloody fought the first Dark One to prove she was strong enough to stay good. Electricity shows as she panics and immediately tries to keep a hold of her magic, it runs around her arm and her palms glow threateningly; she knows Hook has never been through that, a loss of magical control is an Emma special there, because she’s the mad one whose mind is kept together by magic, but at least he has seen some of the effects when Arthur has run her through. What he hasn’t had the chance to see, however, it’s what calms her down beside passing out, and with a pained hiss she shakes her arm to stop the magic, hand visibly shaking, “Please, forgive me, but I need to touch you just for a moment, it will quiet my magic,” it’s a plea, but she’s already moving, her hand going to grasp his and her eyes falling shut. “Human warmth,” she only whispers to answer a question she expects him to ask, her emotions not as strong as her will to not hurt him.
The back and forth changes in her demeanor and voice sent his head spinning for a moment, his concern rising due to the unfamiliar reaction from Emma. He’s never seen her so ruthless and cold as she’d been in that quick moment, and it truly scared him a bit. That version of Emma would’ve been a force to be reckoned with, and someone he wouldn’t ever want after him; not that Light One Emma wasn’t any less dangerous, but she had a moral compass that held her back where he was certain that other version of her wouldn’t hesitate to strike someone down.
Even before Emma voiced her pleas, Hook moved forward, his hand reaching out in a need to help quell the electricity that snaked up her arm. Her hand in his, he could feel her magic spark across his skin, and it almost tickled more than anything else; it obviously wasn’t going to harm him in this state. Nodding his understanding, Hook wrapped his free arm around her waist, enveloping her further in his never ending warmth. The action had been instinctual, the need to protect her that arose as soon as he saw her bruises continuing to make him do things he normally wouldn’t. “Take all the warmth you need,” the Dark One insisted. He’d plenty of it after all; when he was merely human he’d always run warmer than most, and his powers only amplified it.

18 weeks of Captain Swan
Week 3 - dark hook
wolf--and--arrow:
It was the gentleness, both in voice and touch that helped him remember how to breathe again. It took a long minute, but when he did finally break free of the panic that had overtaken him it was like flipping a switch. He forced down the rest, locking it away, his instinct for survival taking over and not allowing him to show any weakness in the open. But unlike the last time this had happened, he was not alone, and he knew Killian would not just let it go. And the thought of having to explain, to actually say what she had done to him, caused tendrils of panic to stir again. But even if he had the words to explain, here was not the time or place..
He couldn’t quite meet Killian’s eye when he looked up, the reminder that he was no longer what he was, no longer…whole, too raw now. He could not even enjoy reuniting with his love, too broken for even that simple joy.
“How did you get here?” He knew the attempt to ignore what had happened would not hold for long, but if he was going to talk about it, it would not be here, and he gestured in the direction that would taken them to his apartment.
Despite the relief that flooded through him once the huntsman seemed to calm and return to the present, it didn’t go unnoticed to Killian the other’s inability to meet his gaze, easily reading it as an attempt to push the issue aside; something that he’d allow for now, until they found someplace more private to talk.
So much time had passed since he last saw his partner in the Enchanted Forest, he could only imagine the worrisome events that transpired.
He relented, allowing the change in topic, keeping close to Huntsman’s side as they started moving in the chosen direction, eyes scanning the odd town for whatever knowledge he could gain from simply watching; and perhaps find the whereabouts of the two people he’s been waiting to hunt down for a long time. “I made a deal with a very powerful woman before the curse swept through the realm, and her part included getting me here as soon after the curse broke as possible,” he explained, not wanting to go into detail at the moment; there’d be time for that later, now it was merely necessary to catch the man next to him up to date and answer any questions he might have.
