is this community going? I still want to have my characters be a thing but I have very much migrated to twitter (even though I hate the platform itself as it sucks as far as artist interface goes) because of the ways things are here right now.

Let’s.. talk. For a moment.

I’ve been getting to know myself on a different level during the pandemic but also in general. I’ve been doing new things for myself, testing things I never thought i’d do, trying to analyze my own health a lot both mental and physical. 

and honestly? I think it’s working out quite decent so far. I’m just sitting here reflecting on myself and my goals in life and as a person how I can shift the direction of my life. This sounds very like, deep-thinking I know but it just sorta.. fell on me tonight?

Like, an example is how much tumblr and my followers has given me over the years. I’ve been slowly getting back into drawing more regularly for real for the first time in maybe what.. 4-5 years?  for the first time in my life i want to explore 3D-art on my own accord for example, not just for school. 

I’m not gonna go on a long ramble but in conclusion, I realized tonight that what i’ve been feeling about my art these last years is the feeling of being burnt out.

I realize now why and how it got to this point and I’ll try to shift my way of approaching it from now.. and see where it takes me. Twitch has been my most recent motivator, so let’s see how I can develop from that I guess?

I feel like I just got slammed in the head with an iron bat???? Were people always this good at drawing or have I just been sleeping on this the last 6 years????
