all the work you put into the wereneo comic is amazing. i just hope you're still having fun with it? a lot of your tags make it seem like drawing the comic is a chore, and that's the last thing anyone wants!!

Oh no, its not like that! A lot of my complaining in the notes is just my brand of dry humour, this comic means a lot to me for what it has taught me, like the fact that i can make a comic that people are able to read and enjoy in the first place :') i also still like making it just as much as when i started, but the thing im little nervous about is the upcoming chapter drop. If it happens when the comic is still ongoing then a lot of it will age real fast and I also will probably be occupied chewing the new information we will get and not be as inclined to finish it, so im basically trying to meet an invisible deadline and it can manifest as some tags that sound like im doing this at gunpoint :d but now that you brought this up ill try to tone it down, i dont wanna people to think i hate making the comic when its entirely just shameless self indulgence incorporated

Hello!

I like ur au a lot and noticed in the fighting scenes that tenna kinda uses electricity as his attack, what other attacks can he do?

i'm doing well thank you, and glad u like Bleu and the AU :) Tenna can use all the attacks he demonstrates in his final boss encounter in chapter three! Minus the "impose minigame" attack which was sort of the main gimmick of the battle, so I think that's why Tenna has fairly limited set of bullet patterns aside from that. Still, there is fun stuff to do with what we have! His most recurring magic seems to be some flavour of star attack, namely All-Star Cast, Rimshot and the very end of Final Episode. I drew him using All-Star-Cast mixed with Final Episode to get Neo off him, which seems to be one of his spells that require the least effort to cast but is nevertheless effective since I recon shooting sharp fast moving stars works on most things that come at you.

Rimshot is special flavour of that that bounces off walls and produces more bullets occasionally with the titular sound effect. In comic world, I imagine casting Rimshot would be especially effective in a tight enclosed space to get the most use out of the bounce effect. Unfortunately the battle in my comic takes place outdoors in big open space so we didn't see Tenna try use it.

Then what I take to be his most effective spell that also takes some effort and TP to cast is Smash Cut, which imposes moire effect on the battle box followed by lightning bolt shaped bullets. I don't interpret the cut as a physical cut like some do since it doesn't do any damage in the game, but I think the imposed moire effect is still strong as it can't be dodged and it causes annoying disorientation when you try to evade the lightning bolts.

It also proved to be quite effective against Neo in the end because it relies on its sight a lot, and overloading a machine with electricity is never good (i did play around with the idea that Neo gets supercharged from getting hit with the attack, but scrapped it after realizing I didn't wanna imagine what in the fresh hell would supercharged Neo be). The power surge broke the system that kept the neck wound sealed and whole host of problems followed so now we are here 👍

If I wanted to revamp my pinned would I make entirely new post and pin that in the place of the old one or would I edit the existing one? I wanna redo the FAQ, link to some asks etc and probably swap the image too. Otherwise I would edit it but is there merit for leaving the old one up even tho it's not pinned anymore? I lowkey love your wereNeo thing but what if he meet the self insert? Cause i'm both scared or corius

Firstly I love this ask and I think its fun, but threw me in a bit of a conundrum because I don't remember ever making a self-insert for Deltarune. I've always understood self-insert as an fan character that's exhibitly meant to represent the artist/writer in the universe of the media and I haven't got one like that, but I narrowed it down to two of the most likely candidates.

So after this I came out thinking you most likely meant Byteraider (Darkner oc i made a while back for the uninitiated) and it just didn't cross my uncivilized mind that someone could use self-insert and fan character interchangeably :D Byte isn't representative of me as a person, he's just lab engineered to appeal to me specifically.

As to your actual question, I think I'd like to make a proper comic or illustration of what would happen if Neo met Byte since he'd fall into interesting grey area in Neo's targeting system. Byte never antagonized Spamton but he also couldn't do much for him after all the bad stuff happened so Spam probably didn't always think exclusively fondly of him.

But I also have a joke answer that I need to get out of my system first since I already filled the first half of this ask by unseriously trying to figure out which character you meant.

Of course! Nothing I've made this far has been abandoned, but the Neo comic is just high priority now art wise since I really want to finish it well before the next chapter this year. But these guys are still here and still fun to draw :)
