The knot by TIFFA Team has been working hard in 2015, and we’re happy to announce that our first collection of tank tops and t-shirts are now available on knotbytiffa.com! While we will always be devoted to the bow tie, we’re continuously working to expand and offer products to all knot by TIFFA fans.

Tiffa worked closely with Maryland screen printer, Stem Graphics, to pick a brand of shirt that’s not only comfortable for wearers, but also strong on social responsibility. We chose Stem Graphics to print the shirts because they offer options for designing artists, so that their choices can resonate with their brand. Tiffa chose the shirt brand Next Level, because of the public supplier code of conduct they uphold by visiting and assessing their suppliers on a regular basis.  

For the lookbook shoot, Tiffa worked with Ambyr Hanks and Danny Hochman of AnD Creatives, which is based in the Washington, DC area. Staff Sergeant Michael Sherman, of the U.S. Army, was selected as the model for knot by TIFFA’s first endeavor in shirts, as he embodies our active spirit. Ambyr and Danny photographed Michael against the soft backdrop of a rainy morning at Rock Creek Regional Park in Maryland. This combination provided the perfect setting for Michael to fish, grill, and jump fences throughout the shoot.

knot by TIFFA debuts its first collection of Tanks & Tees on Tuesday, August 4th on knotbytiffa.com!  The shoot was done by AnD Creatives and features Michael Sherman, Staff Sergeant of the U.S. Army.  Tanks & Tees are offered in a variety of sizes in red, white, and Tahitian blue.

We just received our bow tie instruction cards that were designed by Freebird Paperie, a fellow UD alumn!  The bow tie instructions will come with your order or purchase at one of our market events!

Team Figure Skating Olympic Bronze Medallist at Sochi, Jeremy Abbott, sported our "can’t hold us" bow tie at the Figure Skating in Harlem Gala on Monday!  He looks great in the simple black suit and the pop of vibrant color of the bow tie.  

And in keeping with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Can’t Hold Us”, it looks like Jeremy may not be calling it quits after his amazing feat at the 2014 World Championships, where he finished 5th, a career high.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!!

Jamie Anderson won Gold today in Ladies Slopestyle, completing the gold sweep for Team USA in Slopetstyle.  Then later in the day, the US took Bronze in the Team Skating event!   After Day 1, we decided to tweak the sale, so you will now save more on bow ties!  Gold will save you 10%, Silver 8%, and Bronze 5%!  Additionally, yesterday we tallied a little too early and missed Hannah Kearney’s Bronze in Ladies Moguls.  So this means you save 20% off of all bow ties at the knot by TIFFA store when you use USAMEDALTALLY at checkout!
