Bummed a cigarette off a stranger when I was sitting outside of court and when I told him my name he started to cry. He told me he dated a woman with the same name in the 70s but left her because she wanted to go to college somewhere in the Midwest, and he was sure she’d leave him to marry some guy in a band. So he left to Bali where he married another woman and had 2 children. When he came back to the states years later he said she went looking for him, but he was married now. He said he was just thinking about her all morning and that meeting me felt like some sort of sign, I didn’t really know what to say so I told him maybe it was
