Try uh-” He snapped his fingers, blinking heavily. Darn it all- “Talking.” There it was. Not that he was great at that since the ice, but certainly more capable of carrying on a conversation than a skirmish.

She seems confused though deep down part of her BELIEVES ED and perhaps that was where her confusion came from. As much of a snake as he were there was something about him this time that appeared genuine. Of course, maybe that was because he was A COWARD and wouldn’t dare lie to her while it was possible for her to tare his throat out.

None of this means she likes it of course. If Ed wasn’t TO BLAME for Butch’s current affliction then who was? It was so much easier thinking he did it. She releases him from the lash of her whip and winds it in SKILLFULLY.

❝ Alright, fine, lets talk. He was suppose to be at Gotham general the last I heard so where did you find him? Don’t skimp on any of the details either. ❞ She warns, taking A FEW slightly menacing steps toward him.

She had to witness that, unfortunately. Of course IT ONLY fuelled her desire to hurt him besides whatever he had done to Butch to make the man believe he was this... Grundy figure. Did she believe Ed COULD TWIST someones mind like that? Of course she did. He was a nasty, egotistical little snake when she knew him for the short time she did, not to mention poor Butch had BEEN SUBJECT to such a thing before.

As he speaks to her she pulls her whip a little tighter with the full intention of causing pain as punishment, eyes narrowing dangerously. She’s certainly NOT INTERESTED in entertaining any part of him or his stupid hype man persona.
