I had an unclear idea for what I wanted to do for Pride Month art with my Commander/Wayfinder (Commfinder lol) but I surprised myself once I sat down to draw it!
I guess I will make a few more with my other characters in this kind of art nouveau inspired style.
The flag colors behind Michael are from aromantic and asexual flag!
I made, for myself, some reference sheets of Rila, drow and GW2 versions. Now I can actually remember what I have designed and what not!
Obviously, I have been drawing Rila much more in Guild Wars 2 universe but it is because I play the game a lot, and I kinda like her in that world ( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝)

🌈What is Tyria Pride?
Tyria Pride is a two-day in-game pride march from one corner of (core) Tyria to the other to show support both LGBTQ players and devs, and a fundraiser for Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organisation which helps queer people escape state-sponsored persecution and violence around the world.
It's tons of fun every year, a ton of streamers join in so there are many ways to follow along even if you're not in game, music guilds hold concerts, and we have some pretty legendary giveaways! It's always blast!

I have to make mermaid Rila and I think this was good time for it!
I wanted to also keep this flat colored (I should do more those) since I wanted to this to look simple, and not to think about shadows.
There was no any inspiration what comes to Rila's mermaid look, I just did what I thought looked fun. And it gives me some Middle Eastern vibes, but that's okay!
Maybe I should make a drow version of her, since she is originally a drow?
I was finally able to finish this illustration I started over a month ago.
It is a redraw of my 2023 illustration!
The overall feeling is different compared to the 2023 illustration, the new one is more colder and somewhat muted in color wise.
Also I was keeping everything pretty minimal: background and foreground, not too many shadows etc. since I have had this urge to do more minimal stuff and I tried to do that with the background.
Back in the 2023 I used a lot of Clip Studios foliage assets, but I want to try to learn to do backgrounds so I wasn't using any assets for the background or foreground this time!
I love both illustrations, the newer one is more what I wanted to do back in 2023. And I think I captured the feeling: she is waiting someone to come, and you as viewer, is the one to come to see her.
Finally was able to finish this little illustration of Rila and Naramei having a night out! I was thinking they might have an invitation to theater or something like that 💕
I am also not a master what comes to drawing a two person at the same picture and doing some sort of an interaction, so it might seem a little stiff... But I am trying and, hopefully, learning to do these kind of illustrations more natural looking.
This was a gift for my partner of they DnD/BG3 character in Guild Wars 2 universe!
Obviously, we are playing the game, so I had some references for the outfit but still that outfit was super hard to draw. All those metal shoulder thingies caused me so much pain, but I made some artistic choices along the way.
Also didn't give her the gloves(?), since I liked this illustration better without them.

This is one of my most struggled pieces but also one from which i've learned a lot!

Rila (used to be Darzelya) is my DnD/BG3 character, but I have made an alternative version of her who lives in GW2 universe because I love that game.
She doesn't need to dye/bleach/whatever her hair white in GW2 so I let her have her red hair in game. In DnD she is dyeing her hair white to fit the drow society... She is also a storm sorcerer in DnD, so the best fit for her in Guild Wars 2 is the elementalist!
Otherwise her background is pretty much same than in DnD:
Left as an infant at the monastery's door, doesn't know her parents, was raised in that monastery etc.
She is also wearing the monk outfit in the main story, because she hasn't found her place in Tyria. From LW1 -> she will find herself wearing other clothes, maybe even try different hairstyles!
This wall of text is basically just pure yapping, sorry...
Also little speedpaint, I remembered that I can do those too but when I had done the sketching and line art... But coloring can be fun to watch too!
