Reminder that Dom’s need some care after scenes as well, they can be exhausting and can take a lot out of someone. Dom and sub alike. 👍
Just even reminding us that we didn’t actually properly fuck the sub up would be nice and that you’re gonna be alright, you know?

ALWAYS REBLOG WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS PLEASE; ITS SO MUCH MORE THAN IMPORTANT TO PEOPLE. IT MEANS EVERYTHING TO SOMEBODY AND EVEN THOUGH YOU MIGHT NOT SEE THIS IN THE SAME LIGHT, SOMEONE MIGHT. INFACT YOU REBLOGGING THIS COULD STOP SOMEONE TAKING THEIR LIFE TONIGHT.
Hell yes !! Love the lyrics !
Reblog if your tumblr is your nasty little secret 😏🤤😵
Oh no one knows about this blog, god damn I’d be shunned
😆😆😆 absolutely!!
A Dom can manhandle a Sub's body as roughly as their Sub wants.
But a Sub's mind and heart must always be handled with the utmost care.
what abt... nonverbal subs?? im autistic and sometimes just... cant speak... but i never got the chance to learn asl or use AAC so... idk just 🥺👉👈
I have experience with semi/non verbal subs with mental health backgrounds but not autism, who need a bit more care with consent. I can absolutely expand on how I would change from a verbal check in to a non verbal one from that point of view, and hopefully there will be some cross over!
I'm not an expert at this and I don't have experience with non verbal subs with autism. This is a generalised tip list of ways to give consent with no words!
With semi/non verbal subs there has to be a little bit more care and awareness, but these are possible ways to get explicit consent!
Discussions well in advance, with practice outside of a scene on clear, explicit signs that you both understand and couldn't mean anything else.
This could be a tap/bite somewhere that is off limits and easy to reach for the sub.
There could be something that the sub can reach that makes a noise, a bell perhapse on the bedside table, that they could use.
Before the scene, double check, do you know what the sign is? Are you comfortable?
Then, just like in all situations, "show me baby, you okay? You show me if you're happy and want to continue. Really clear now. Let me see."
Lots and lots of praise and reassurance for every check in.
Continuous checks show care and are incredibly important.
All doms should know how important it is that they should safeword and stop if they're ever unsure.
Consent should always be clear and checked on.
Your sub should always feel safe, they trust you.
I'm sure there are plenty more ways! But every single sub deserves explicit and enthusiasticly consented experiences and to feel absolutely safe in your hands. ❤️
Communication is key, be that verbal or non verbal.
You're very welcome to add to this in the comments with ideas here too! I'm not an expert and can always learn!
Edit:
I tried to find helpful links and the only one I can find is from a website called 'Scarleteen' and seems to be a sex ed website. I'll link it just incase it's helpful for anyone.
A Brief Guide to Consenting with a non verbal Partner
I know everyone is over 18 here and I don't want to talk down to anyone, but I also want to add some resources that aren't just from me :)!
Please reblog if you’re a BDSM/kink blog that does NOT support or allow minors.
Everyone who reblogs will be added to the Safe Space Support List! :)
This is how I should be approached when I’m doing the dishes!!
