Unlike her first pregnancy, this one was much easier, maybe it was because of how much more attentive Theodore was, or how infectious Theodosia's happy giggles were, or how she managed to keep up with her flowering hobby, but Jessamine found herself no longer dreading the baby's kicks.

With Theodosia growing up quickly, and the months passing by, Jessie realized they were blessed with a Harvestfest miracle. "We are with child, Theo." Jessie put a hand over her stomach.

Theo placed a hand over hers, hugging her from behind. "It is all my fault, it is hard to leave you alone when you breathe in my direction..I'll call the doctor right away and more often, let us pray you have a much kinder pregnancy."

Theodosia, affectionately called Dosia, was a gentle, calm baby who seemed enamored with her parents, which seemed to assist in Jessie's rapid recovery, and gain Theo's attention. He was absolutely with the tiny little human his wife had created, and had even taken time off to simply just exist with his family. The new routine allowed Jessie and Theo to rekindle their love into something more comfortable. The passion simmered but the spark never died. And they were both happy.

Over a nearly 3 day struggle, Jessamine Bellamy was comforted & praised by Theodore Bellamy and a midwife as she welcomed Theodosia Bellamy into the world on a hot yet thankfully not humid day in June 1880. The entire family was ecstatic, as Etta Mae & Simeon Brown had welcomed her cousin Alphonso Brown into the family two months prior in April 1880.
