Hey lovelies, no big posts queued this week because I’m graduating, see y’all next week 🥰
In Late August 1881, The Bellamy's welcomed a wailing Pierre Bellamy Jr. who was named after Theodore's grandfather. The labor did not take nearly as long, but it still wiped Jessamine out for half a day after. The sleep deprived couple were overjoyed, as their family was now complete.

Unlike her first pregnancy, this one was much easier, maybe it was because of how much more attentive Theodore was, or how infectious Theodosia's happy giggles were, or how she managed to keep up with her flowering hobby, but Jessamine found herself no longer dreading the baby's kicks.

The Bellamy House, c. Late Autumn, 1880
With Theodosia growing up quickly, and the months passing by, Jessie realized they were blessed with a Harvestfest miracle. "We are with child, Theo." Jessie put a hand over her stomach.
Theo placed a hand over hers, hugging her from behind. "It is all my fault, it is hard to leave you alone when you breathe in my direction..I'll call the doctor right away and more often, let us pray you have a much kinder pregnancy."

Miss Dosia is a little lady with a BIG personality, but is growing up healthy and happy.

The Bellamy House, c. Freedom Day, 1880
For Freedom Day, the Bellamy's invited over the Brown's, Alpheus staying home to tend to little Alphonso who was a little under the weather. They played cards, had a lively dinner, and danced while Jessie went wild on her piano. They even got to meet little miss Dosia after she woke from her nap, who was excited to meet her aunt and uncle for the first time. With how big she was getting, Etta Mae asked when they'd have another. And before Theo could answer, to his surprise, Jessie said soon.

The Bellamy House, c. July 1880
Theodosia, affectionately called Dosia, was a gentle, calm baby who seemed enamored with her parents, which seemed to assist in Jessie's rapid recovery, and gain Theo's attention. He was absolutely with the tiny little human his wife had created, and had even taken time off to simply just exist with his family. The new routine allowed Jessie and Theo to rekindle their love into something more comfortable. The passion simmered but the spark never died. And they were both happy.

Over a nearly 3 day struggle, Jessamine Bellamy was comforted & praised by Theodore Bellamy and a midwife as she welcomed Theodosia Bellamy into the world on a hot yet thankfully not humid day in June 1880. The entire family was ecstatic, as Etta Mae & Simeon Brown had welcomed her cousin Alphonso Brown into the family two months prior in April 1880.
