i have mixed feelings when watching videos of vessel singing and crying while fighting for his life and the camera pans over to iii being a fucking dumbass waving his arms around and shit like am i supposed to laugh or cry

OKAY oh um yeah so playing Date Everything (here me out) and talking to Keyes, the piano and she mentioned the goddess; Piana, the daughter of the sky god who was unfairly cast from the heavens to the mortal realm and I was curious if that was a real myth or made up (also when i think of pianos I think of vessel) and...

Yeah yeah it is a real place but shhhhhhhh we're not talking about that.

But, huh, that is.... interesting. THROWBACK TO THE TEASERS (ahhh good times)

When Sleep Token were teasing the album, they mentioned PAN as a title of one of the teasers between House Veridian and the Feathered Host. Pan is the God of rustic music, mischief and other kinky stuff and is worshipped in Arcadia. (BUT ALSO MY FUCKING GOD: Being a rustic god, Pan was not worshipped in temples or other built edifices, but in natural settings, usually caves or grottoes) "When you plucked me from the grotto"

Which then leads back to this again:

Actually, before the fanart spam, I'm posting this. Like, I'm sorry but you are never going to convince me that this guy is a greedy anti-art capitalist who hates his fans.

Every single piece of the Sleep Token project is infused with his absolute love for music and art. The references and genre-blending in the songs, the fact that he had an entire graphic novel made, the fact that he drew so many concept pieces for the albums himself—he loves art. He is an artist, both musically and traditionally.
