[A thousand apologies for disappearing without any indication as to where I was going to be or when I'd come back. To be honest I didn't know either or those answers myself and I have never been good at giving people heads up either. I'll just drop this here! Open Rp! The most obvious explanation is that real life trumped this and such. I'm sure some of you can relate.]

A burst of chilling air ripped through a vast clearing in the depths of Fudal Japan's Iron Tree Forest. She stood in the middle, her hair and clothing beginning to settle as the materialization into existance departed. She stood there, hand upon her hip and leaned to the side in a manner of cracking her back and any other joints bothering her. 

"Aayaa.." She exclaimed as she stretched her hands and arms high to the bright blue sky above, allowing her claws to extend while she did so. 

Her left hand lowered to her hip once more and removed a small gourd of potent liquor from a satchel at her Hakama's waist line. Off went the cork, to swing idly by it's neck and she took a long drink. 

"Haa.." She sealed it once more and staggered forward. To those with attentive senses, it'd have been a scent they certainly hadn't smelled in a great long time and now it was suddenly back. Just like that...with a small hint of salt in it's wake.
