Murder at the Crossing: aka Mystery AU, it’s Thasmin but make it 1920s cozy mystery. Constable Yasmin Khan seems to be the only one in her small village taking the murder of a stranger in town seriously, that is, aside from charming newcomer Dr. Emily Smith.

In This World of Strangers, I Belong to Someone: aka Edwardian AU, in which law student Yaz encounters eccentric clockmaker Johanna, and a pamphlet written by someone called the Doctor. (And yes! There’s art! It’s amazing!)

we never said our love was evergreen: aka immediately after Legend of the Sea Devils, Yaz, Dan, and the Doctor take a trip to Paris for the Exposition Universelle in 1889... and get stranded when someone shoots the Doctor and steals the TARDIS.

Shorter fics!

falling down the stairs (of your love): aka the Doctor hits her head and lets herself have Feelings, and then panics a lot about said feelings (Yaz helps, also there’s a stained glass space station). Flying Lessons: aka a series of vignettes in which Yaz learns to fly the TARDIS between Revolution of the Daleks and The Power of the Doctor and is the most incredible person in the universe. Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better: In which Yaz gets very frustrated with the Doctor’s hovering and not talking after the events of Legend of the Sea Devils. And of course, Yaz has learned to bottle things up from the best of them.

Fleur-de-lis: aka the Doctor and Yaz accidentally end up in jail during the French Revolution, and the Doctor encounters a painful parallel of the Timeless Child.

Meow of the Universe: aka the extremely silly modern Thasmin AU... with cats...

hold my hand and we’re halfway there: one of two “the Doctor is not okay and there’s trees” fics I’ve written, this time involving a telepathic distress call that breaks down the Doctor’s defenses.

to know how it ends and still begin to sing it again (as if it might turn out this time): Aka the Doctor and Yaz are trapped in a time loop... can they finally confront their feelings as the loops close around them?

Sufficiently Advanced Wager: aka bet fic! Yaz and the Doctor land on an impossible planet, but they bet on whether the cause is magic or science, with a story about their pasts at stake.

So I follow N. D. Stevenson (comics writer and animator, most famous for Nimona and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) and his husband Lee Ostertag (also a comics writer and animator) on Instagram. When I started following them, they were both publicly presenting as women, and then a few years ago N. D. came out as transmasc nonbinary, and then earlier this year Lee also came out as transmasc. Anyway this is all setup to say that Lee had the chance to make the funniest post of all time and he took it:

I want to throw in that part of the context behind this meme was N.D. talking about how he sometimes gets hatemail for marrying a man as a former lesbian, and how many people seem to think he divorced his wife.

I have not managed to find anyone who thinks that in the wild, but it is so damn funny.

The weather did a big switch up again and now instead of a heat wave, we have nonstop thunder storms. So far, my garden is handling it okay. I’m really proud of all the irises I planted last year (bulbs) and the sweet william I started from seed last year as well! Oh and there’s wild pansies in there too, but barely any made it to flower. And honestly I think that the container is a bit overcrowded and maybe everything would look better if I thinned them out. Oops.

But anyway, it’s so satisfying when I manage to keep plants alive for multiple years lol

The plant Malva arborea 'Variegata' (tree mallow) can be grown as an annual, biennial or a short lived perennial. It grows rapidly and can reach up to 3m tall. The foliage is boldly variegated and in addition there are purple flowers.
