Fun fact: Supernatural is set to take the crown (and the Guinness World Record) for being the longest consecutively running Sci-Fi television serial of all time. The current holder of this title is Smallville which ended in 2011 with 217 episodes over a 10 year run.

here’s my guesses, everyone PLEASE jump in and feel free to argue them!!!

Dean: fire (he’s flipping golden first of all) he’s aggressive, brave, passionate, EXTREMELY confrontational, and literally throws himself into the fire for everyone. His fighting style is even seen as head on with charged attacks. Dean has plenty of anger but also guilt (maybe tying into how fire is the element of destruction and he sometimes resents his element) He also has that constant “inner fire” that’s probably the only thing keeping him alive atm

Sam: (this was a hard one) first thing I noticed was mental power; he’d probably be a waterbender with the ability to bloodbend- waterbending takes so much goddamn skill: they have such a variety of attacks and has some of the most dangerous special abilities, which Sam has had from the beginning. Water is tied to the person’s emotional state. You need to have mental control, which Sam is very good at (overpowering lucifer). He is also seen as kind of the opposite of Dean in many ways, so they can balance each other out with fire and water

Castiel: air 

Kevin: earth

Charlie: air

Crowley: i feel like he wouldn’t be a bender???

Bobby: earth because he’s a stubborn asshole

Jo: not sure, probs fire because dean and her’s relationship just seemed like a “fight fire with fire” type

Ellen: fire

Meg: water- mostly because it’s the element of change and Meg’s alliances switched and SHE changed
