We cane to the conclusion that Fred would smoke with his friends,Joe would try to smoke once for the sake of it and Sam keeps yapping non stop about the statistics or something

just to say i don’t think they would really do it like at all it’s very odd thing to talk about . i think fred would maybe try a cigarette or two in my au when he IS IN HIGHSCHOOL because of his baseball friends but i did not intend this to be a whole thing . i don’t think any of the characters would really smoke and it’s an odd thing to ask about a kids show with 10 year olds .
The big reason the books suck is because time warp trio works best as a visual medium, you need to actually see what’s going on, as well as their sweet little faces. Their cute facial expressions make the show what it is, also some good backgrounds with subtle lore hints.
I feel it it's definitely easier to picture what's going on when it's a cartoon as opposed to a book. I did check out one of the audiobooks because I'm curious about it
the books don’t suck. i have all of them and honestly the books give the characters personality in ways the show can’t. it goes both ways tbh. books & shows are very different forms of media and are meant to be consumed differently. some people like reading more and some people like watching more. but it is very interesting to read and watch imo , you learn about the environment and characters in both, just in different ways
Shame that apart from 2105 and Sam Samurai there weren't really any School episodes,there could have been a bunch of intresting and funny story lines like idk the history teacher suspecting Fred and/or Joe of cheating since they were never good at history before and now their getting nothing but A's???And they're like "Nah bro" and show the book as evidence and shenanigs happen
could've been a good storyline! We really do never see the kids at school besides like the field trip and the samurai episode
Oh this reminds me .. in my au Mad Jack becomes a school lunch lady to try to get The Book at the trios’s school . it doesn’t go well .

OKAY OKAY SO my faves are Sam and Jodie!! Mainly my thoughts have been on Freddi for now for thoughts on the girls though I do love them all!!
I also kinda wish Anna was there more idk she's just fun I enjoy her a lot. The show is also pretty funny idk their expressions sometimes just get to me and the animation at some points too
I was trying to think of a fave episode but I really like them all. I do find it wild they all are constantly about to die though like guys can't they have a normal adventure where they just don't almost die 💔

i love working with my au because that means i can actually make the situations they’re in realistic. i know their situations are simplified for easier learning + because it’s for kids .. but i really wanna see how these things change them and give them development because wtf you mean you’re not in therapy for this

HIGHSCHOOL AU!!!
i’ve been meaning to make character descriptions, but i’ll give the main ideas here
- mad jack is way more insane
- mad jack adopts a teen apprentice who is skilled at fighting and spying (her name is mystery)
- sam and fred are gay
- joe becomes a self taught magician and warper , much more skilled now (jodie disagrees with being self taught and strictly goes by warp academy books & rules, but joe invents that later on soooo)
- joes uncle sacrifices himself
- sam dies a lot
- time travel going wrong ; someone gets stuck in a void of time and space
- anna runs away (she’s around 13 in my au)
- mystery vs joe action
- jodie and fred moments
- the book being alive and its full abilities being discovered
- space time continuum horror
- joe meeting his mom, uncle, and mad jack when they were a young trio time traveling

Tbh I found your blog through your Time Warp Trio/Earthbound stuff and I just wanted to say that I love the way you draw the characters from these franchises. They look so soft and squishy and I wanna hug them!!
oh hey the fact that you know of my time warp trio art that’s really cool, I really miss that series and still on the hunt for some the other books, i’m really glad to like how I draw everybody in both the series
