Juicy contradiction
I haven’t been on here in a few months because of being a camp counselor and college, but I thought I’d share a story from camp that some people might find kind of funny. One of the other counselors in the cabin that I was in decided to buy a bag of starbursts, and gave each of us one starburst from the bag. We weren’t supposed to have candy, so we told all of the kids to eat the wrapper or make sure to give it to us to try and throw it away without them being noticeable. All of the kids claimed that you can’t eat the wrapper, so I immediately take my wrapper and swallow it (camp counselors are weird people that don’t hesitate to make questionable decisions like this for our kids, and chewing the wrapper wasn’t going to work). Some of the campers were so amazed that I did it that they asked for another starburst to eat without unwrapping it. It is that simple to have kids love you because eating a wax paper wrapper is the coolest thing to them.
