(Spring 2020) There is nothing like it, waiting for night to fall in the woods and watching the lights turn on, one by one, until they fill the whole scene with cold light.

(Spring 2020) The dandelion is small but mighty, the golden fanfare of spring becoming the snowy reminder of winter’s return. Lovely, strange, and impermanent, its memory drifts on the wind to start again somewhere far away.

(Fall 2019) The mountains hold glory in their folds and on their soft ridges. They beckon us to slow down and linger longer than we thought we could, letting night slip in. But the wait is worth it. The sky clears, and the universe appears.
