Hi all! I'm Christina. This is my new life, my new me. I have been away and on and off for a while, but now I wanna share my growth for the world to see. It's been a long journey but this is where I plan to spread my wings. Started fight against testosterone (HRT) 4-11-17.

So I ended up completing my work for the day in about half a day. Today's work site was about three miles from Grand Haven State Park on Lake Michigan and so I decided to change out of my work clothes (had a change with me from spending the night at my gf's) and head down to the pier to take a stroll. So today is Mother's Day and I've been trying to think how I wanted to say this... I lost my mom just over 16 years ago, long before there was even a thought in my heart of ever being the person I am today. Sometime's I wonder how she would have felt about me being transgender and transitioning. Would she have been supportive? Would she have been disappointed? I feel as though she would have been there for me and cheered me on after a period of grieving the loss of her son but celebrating the daughter she never had. I guess, deep down, I try to be an example of the love and compassion she had for others and the fact that she treated everyone with respect. If you knew her, you knew she was a woman of faith, a chick that could drink you under the table and one that would give you the shirt off of her back if she could... And I still miss her every day because I so desperately want her validation, above all others, of the woman I am today! Wish the weather was a little warmer that I didn't need this jacket (only 47deg F this morning). This is another tye dye dress I picked up from @2girlstyedye and I gotta say, I absolutely love it! The color is so springy!! I was also able to compliment the dress color with my @karity Matte and Frost eyeshadow palettes. I think the look turned out pretty good! After a 16 hour day at work Friday, I was right back up at 6am to stay a fun filled day with the lovely @kellylynn.p. So yesterday, I ended up working at a site in Alma, MI. One of the neatest things up there (for an electrician), that i haven't seen anywhere else quite like it, is the massive amount of wind turbine farms (or as the orange one calls them, "cancer fans"). There's probably hundreds of them, easily, over several square miles.
