Dropping her hand, Bennie stepped back a few, her hands on her hips as he spoke, head canting to the side. ”Then why not tell me over coffee? After all, I kinda owe you considering the bitch response you got the last time you saw me.”

"Past is past, but I won't turn down coffee." Kyle ducked down to latch his guitar-case closed, "I should warn you, though..." he said, looking up at her, "I'm not one for touchy-feely talk."

"P-please don’t do this to me." The princess cried, trying to kick away her kidnappers. "I-I’m not the princess anymore! Revenge won’t do a-any good here.."

She was left in the silence, left to be in pain from the struggle of the capture. “Somebody help me.” She managed to whimper. “Please..”

"Artemis.." She said her name quietly, keeping her eyes intent on him. He had saved her but he did just kill quite a few people without so much as blinking. She glanced at the men making their final screams just as he did. "Thank you." Was all she said, shaking off his rather unpleasant confession.

Roland smiled, "No thanks necessary, I'm not in the business of standing idly by while a group of two-bit thugs terrorize the innocent." he said, his eyes flicking up to meet hers, "You are innocent, aren't you?" he queried, green eyes scanning over her face.

Her hands went up on the defense. ”Hey now, I never implied you stole it, so no reason for you to get worked.” Waggling a finger, the brunette came closer, her head canting to the side as he spoke. ”Well now, daddy issues were never my speciality but you,” she gently placed her finger beneath his chin, eyes making contact, “seem chalk full of all sorts of angst, so, how about I get you a coffee and not about stolen goods. Besides, it was someone else who took it, I didn’t get it back till today. So please, don’t worry.”

Kyle smirked as his gaze met hers, "Seems like we could both do with making less assumptions. My problem isn't my father, it's my mother." he stated, "Or rather, lack there-of." his tucked his hands away in his pockets, "Coffee sounds good."

She winced teasingly, her eyes rolling somewhat. ”You did? … damn, I missed out then.” Sticking out her tongue in a teasing manner, Bennie ran a hand through her dark chocolate locks, her lips twitching into a grin at the mere fact that someone like him could play the teasing game. ”You’re not an asshole, I haven’t had my phone because I lost it the last time I was near you.” Bennie stated calmly, “So, I kinda figured it was best to actually come by and see you instead of assuming I needed a new phone.”

"Hold on, you're saying I gave you my number and then stole your phone?" Kyle laughed softly, "That's not exactly conducive to making friends. Is this because I'm poor?" he teased, crouching down to put Lucy in her case, "Because, in case you didn't remember, I'm also catholic. 'Thou shalt not steal.' If my dad thought I had stolen something he would Whoop. My. Ass." Kyle punctuated with wide eyes.

Artemis’ ears perked up when she heard the whistling of arrows from above. Her head turned weakly in time to see them lodged into the backs of her captors. A small scream came from her when a boy dropped in front of the cage where she was held. Her breathing picked up, she didn’t recognize his face. “Wh-who are you?” She asked, hesitantly taking his hand.

He glanced down at his denied palm and back up at the girl before dipping into a bow, "Roland Hood, at your service m'lady." he said, screams still echoing behind him, "I apologize for the racket, swift deaths seemed a bit to easy." The boy glanced behind him at the limp bodies, "I'm hardly merciful." he admitted with a shrug, "One of my less appealing qualities, I've been told."

"Hmm…" Tapping her chin for a moment, the brunette shrugged slightly, her hand resting on the edge of a nearly chair. "Giving your number and maybe getting another coffee wouldn’t hurt." Bennie’s gaze then moved towards his, her lips tugging into a small grin. "Unless you’ve got another imaginary girlfriend to meet for three hours."

Kyle raised an amused eyebrow and pointed at her with his pick, "You have my number. I remember because I told you to text me if you didn't think I was an ass hole and you didn't text me so I assumed you thought I was an ass hole." he dropped his hand down and unplugged his guitar, lifting the strap over his head, "I cried for hours." he added with a playful glance.

"Cocky, maybe." Bennie shrugged, "Douchey? I’ve heard worse. Think of it as, you’re better than R.Kelly’s Trapped in the Closet and lesser than Panic! At the Disco’s Ms. Jackson.” Biting back her lower lip, she stepped closer, head canting to the side before fixating her attention towards the fellow. ”I guess it’s a good thing I stayed. After all, that coffee was free, maybe this is payment for that.”

"Of course. I mean everyone knows the only real way to pay for coffee is with filthy, smutty music." he said with a smirk, his amp buzzing softly while he spoke, "How else do you say, 'thanks for the caffeine' if not through thinly veiled sexual innuendos and grungy guitar riffs?"

I mean we've never played it before so... yeah." he ran his fingers through his hair with a coy smile, "You don't think it's cocky and douchey?" he teased.

His arrows sung as they flew from his perch. Their whistling coming to an abrupt stop as they sunk eagerly into the flesh of the men, the pain bringing each of them to their knees. Daggers followed close behind, each finding it's mark with pinpoint accuracy and severing the mens' spinal cords to render them completely and permanently immobile. Roland dropped down gracefully from the tree, his approach accompanied by a chorus of agony-induced screams. He pulled the bow over his head so the bowstring ran across his chest to his hip. Roland hastily pulled his lockpick from his waistband and made quick work of the cage's padlock, swinging the door wide open, "Excuse the brutes, madam; some men have absolutely no clue how to tread a lady." he said, offering her his hand.
