I probably sound like I’m bragging, but it’s the truth and I’m proud of it! Well, I’ve got a record, see. I can dismantle a car and put it back together again in such a short span of time! It’s something I’ve been practicing for quite a while now. Something I do enjoy, too. A hobby that I’m quite lucky to have. Mind if I ask you if there’s anythin’ you enjoy doing? There’s gotta be something you’re brilliant at.

Hahha, yes sir, you do sound like you’re bragging! So, what’s the fastest record you made for a whole car? Can you do it in 15 minutes? That would be amazing! Well, you do seem to love it very much, did you grow up with cars?

My latest record is tryin’ for under a minute, actually. And while I didn’t grow up around a lot of vehicles, I did enjoy takin’ things apart at a young age. I guess becoming a mechanic was just natural. Maybe I even had it in my blood! ‘Cause inside we’ve all got that same tang of iron, anyway.

And I’m not much of a reader. I don’t believe it takes skill, but it certainly takes patience. Such a heavenly virtue, of course. Fit for someone quite like yourself.

WOAH! A minute?! For a whole car?! That's amazing! How's that even humanly possible? Wowzers, sir, that's unbelievable! Well, I believe you, but wow. Wow! I've never heard of such a feat before.

A-ahh. Well. I find books very enjoyable, myself. So I get lost in them pretty easily, just as well. Kind of like.. Escaping from the busy city life once in a while, you know?

But why would he have explosives strapped onto him in the first place…?

Oh, is that so.. It takes a lot for one to break them down and build them back up again, though! It’s a shame. But well, I’m sure they’re the one’s missing out! I bet you’d be great on the job, regardless.

Oh, so it’s a hobby of yours? But if you love dismantling them, why not take it up for a full-time job. You must be skilled! Or, do you have something else as an occupation?

I myself am quite proud of my skills, but alas, not many people are fond of me breaking these vehicles all the time. Well, I can put them back together again! But not a lot of people are hiring nowadays…

Ah, a stroll, of course. Such a lovely day out, isn’t it? Hm, perhaps I should take one myself. I’ve been working inside for far too long! Maybe some sunlight will do good for my nerves. But I’m not a vampire yet, lucky me.

And to answer your question, well, I own this place, to put it simply. I’m a mechanic, and that warehouse over there is mine.

Oh my God. Is this for real? Is this really happening? So I wasn't imagining it all? So, then. She's here? She's here! She's--

And she wraps her arms around her beloved nanna, finally allowing her tears to fall. How she's missed her so much. To think that it was really her, and the fact that she remembers! Oh, dear. How happy this little girl was to hear those words. Too happy to speak, in fact. What a reunion this is, she held onto her nanna tighter and tighter by the second, never wanting to let her go.

"Nanna! ..N-nanna!" were the only things that could be heard between her sobs. Everything else came out as either hiccups or slurs.

I'm so glad.

Hic.

I'm so happy to see you.

Sob.

Thank goodness you're here.
