Hey I was confused about what you meant by the Baritone stereotype in your band stereotypes post, you don’t have to explain what you meant but🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi!! I’m honestly so surprised that post still gets notes as I made it 4 years ago now!! but at my high school, a “flute appreciation day” was when the baritones would get to do our marching blocks with a smaller instrument (usually a flute, hence the name) because the owners of the smaller instruments would complain about how heavy their instrument was or how difficult to march with good posture was. The idea behind the exercise was if you think what you have is hard, march a significantly heavier instrument with good posture. The flute appreciation was for our baritones who were super disciplined, so the flutes has a lot to live up to and the baritones got a break from their heavy instruments!
