This is literally my favourite part of OJ's character. I'll never get over how he believes he got away from the show-- but he still acts exactly like his character in season 1. Season 1 OJ is RIDDLED with issues, he is awful. He cuts bomb off without good reason, he's rude, he's a hypocrite but the show hardly acknowledges it. He wins without ever going through some arc where he becomes a 'better person.'

AND I ADORE THAT!!! I think he's so interesting for that reason! I think if you were to ask OJ if he thought he was a good person- he would answer of course!

And, you know, I don't think he's a bad person either. I think he's more complicated then that. But going back to it-- there are no more challenges for him, no more competition yet he still acts like there's something he needs to pursue. He manages people, he overworks himself, I don't think he ever got out of that mindset that he needs to 'win'.

He'll cut people off because they threaten him losing. He'll rudely shove you to the side because you're interupting his idealization of how that episode should go. He'll just ASSUME leadership in invitational because- well why wouldn't he be!?

And then episode 17 comes out. And it's revealed this is likely something he's been coded with. He's SUPPOSED to be a winner. And it's like everything just clicked!!!! It all made sense. Of course he never got out of that 'winners mindset!' Of course he never changes! He isn't meant to!!!
