So i have this friend who is really uncomfortable to be around although she's supposed to be my 'friend since kinder garden blahblahah' and she's made me a lot of damage through the years but rn she's calm and haven't really done anything and i'm trying to get away from her step by step, but now she wants to hang out w me again and i genuinely don't want to but i don't want to come off as rude and neither to hurt her or be an hypocrite.. What do you think i should do?
you need to put yourself first. it might suck and it might be hard but if that friendship is toxic and damaging then you need to get tf away from her. love yourself baby.
"Labels don't define us, we define labels" OH GOD I WANT THAT ON A SHIRT YOU'RE AMAZING
you can thank laci green for that one hahah!
So, I identify myself as pansexual, but lately I'd been more attracted to girls more than anything. I told a friend of mine about this and she told me that then I'm gay, but i don't really know because I know I like boys too... Should I even label myself? And thanks girls! I love your blog!
sexuality is completely fluid and it's your decision whether or not you choose to label yourself because labels don't define us, we define labels
and if you like one gender more than the other even when you identify as pan/bi that's completely fine! your preferences don't disregard your sexuality! like i'm bisexual but i prefer girls and i'm still attracted to guys but i'm not interested in being with them currently.
hope this helps! and you're welcome :)
Before I was born there was a massive family feud. My family had been tense for a few years until my nan bought it back up again and blamed me. They stopped talking to us for a few months until my aunt and uncle separated. They are now back together and my mum confronted my grandma and grandad and they are wondering why I don't want nothing to do with them. It's upsetting me. All I want is a apology and it's making me feel angry. I don't want to think I never had them there for me. What do I do?
Communication is your friend. They probably don't even know what's upsetting you (adults have selective memory when it comes to shit like that). Seriously, the best way to deal with it is to talk to them and tell them why you're upset, and maybe then you can begin to mend your relationship?
Let us know how everything works out when you do decide on what you want to do. Good luck!
I don't know what to do, I really really like a boy, but I really don't think I can tell him, whenever I see him flirt with other girls it kills me. Also one of my best friends is trying to set him up with this girl and I just really don't know. He said that he likes the other girl but doesn't want a girlfriend, so either way if I tell him he won't want me... Ugh
If he likes someone else, then the best thing you can do is move on. There’s no point hanging around in hopes that one day he might like you back, because you’ll only get hurt.
So I like the same girl as my other friend (I'm a girl) and he confessed it to me, but I didn't told him I liked her too. Tomorrow I'll see him and I don't know if I should tell him. What do you think I should do?? I feel like I'm not being completely honest with him, but also I don't really know how he will react (he already know I like girls and has his suspicions about me liking her)
You’ve got to be honest with him. If you both like her, she should be off-limits for the both of you, otherwise it’ll ruin your friendship. But the only way he’s going to know that is if you tell him.
I love you girls so fucking much. You're all incredible and lovely humans. Ily.
thank you, that's so sweet of you! we love you too <3
There's this girl who treats everyone like trash, and my friend told her that she had to stop it (she complains about insecurities ppl have and has called him faggot and more, it's awful.) Then she said that she was the one being treated like shit and denied everything. We really don't know how to make her realize what she's doing because she says she hates ppl talking on her back, but then when they get to say it to her she doesn't want to accept it
People like this really get on my nerves because all they want is attention. I think the only thing you can do is stop giving her any attention for it and just ignore every time she makes a comment and she will soon get bored of not getting anything back from it! You also don't need friends like this! It's hard to make her realise what she's doing it wrong so maybe by ignoring it all she will realise the points when she is being out of order. Hope this helps x
I feel like I'm a terrible friend for not telling them how i really had been feeling lately but i'm so fucking scared of how they would react and that for sure they will ask me why the hell i did not told them about it and i don't fucking know what to do i'm being such a fucking hypocrite i feel like i'm going to explode at some moment
i am going to assume this is the second part to the other ask!
I would just tell them, if they react badly then they really aren't your real friends! You're not a hypocrite, trust me, only if you were making them feel as shit as you are feeling right now, that would make you a hypocrite! Just speak to them and see what happens! It will all be worth it in the end x
Me and this guy both confessed are feeling for each other over text. We flirt all the time and talk a lot, eg skype text and phone calls. I want to ask him out but he's not allowed a girlfriend or is scared to have one. I dunno what to do?
There will be a time when he is allowed to have a girlfriend, maybe just carry on doing what you're doing, if you both really like each other, you should be able to wait until he is allowed/ no longer scared!
My bestfriend sexted a boy once and she got I a lot of trouble with her parents. She's now got a new boyfriend and is doing it again. I don't know how to stop her. She's already planning on losing her virginity to him and he's a lot older
My friend has done the same thing, except her parents never found out about it and now she has lost her virginity. As harsh as this sounds, it's her life, you can warn her about it and tell her how you think what she is doing is wrong but if she does it anyway at least you tried to stop her from doing it and maybe she will learn if she gets in trouble again! Loosing her virginity is something I guess it's down to her, if she's ready then there's nothing that can really be done to stop her, this is coming from not knowing her age etc.
I feel like a huge hypocrite. Two of my friends had been excluding me, but it seems like they aren't aware of it. Also, they had been acting differently and it really annoys me, but a haven't told them a thing about it. I don't know how to bring those things to their faces and I feel so fucking pissed off about myself because I just want to be honest and sincere but I don't really know how to tell them. Also, thank you so much for creating this blog. ily
My honest opinion is that they don't seem like friends at all to me. I know what it's like I have had friends that have excluded me and treated me different to our other friends before and they are not worth it, you can try talking to them about it but if they act clueless and then carry on to do it, they really aren't worth it! I hope this helped and you are welcome!
right now, I'm at my best friends grad party and I'm a little drunk. earlier, apparently I drunkenly convinced my lesbian-best-friend to kiss me (as experimentation). I don't remember the actual kiss that much, but I can remember it for the most part. she's asleep right next to me, and all I can think about is getting her to kiss me again. what do I do?
hmm, well you were drunk so there is that as your excuse and if you really want to do it again, do it. Assuming you're straight as you said you kissed for experiment, if you are confused about your sexuality take all the time you need and do all the experimenting you need to figure it out! Figuring out and deciding your sexuality won't just come to you over night x
daily reminder that you're lovely :)
thank you anon much love x
Please help me. My friend keeps just annoying me. All she cares about is herself and boys. She's turning into the sort of slut of are school year and it upsets me. However, when I confront her she just gets annoyed and brushes it off. I don't know what to do anymore.
that's a shame that you don't really get on with your friend. but it's not really a bad thing if she is turning into the 'slut' of the school, as she can express her sexuality in anyway she wants to as long as she is being safe and not hurting anyone. if this becomes the case, yeah, you should probably step in or talk to her.
but ultimately, you don't want to be in a friendship that makes you unhappy. and if this friendship is not being a positive experience, then you should probably get out of that friendship. alternatively try to talk to her in a respectful way and if she still brushes off then, exit that friendship. because your happiness matters more than anything really.
hope this helps! x
I feel like I genuinely can't stay in the closet anymore it's affecting my mental health, my relationships and it's just making it really hard to be happy. At the same time, I can't cope with the thought of coming out. I know everything will change, I know I'll lose some of my best friends and I know that I'm not ready to do it. But I don't think I'll ever be ready.
This is coming from a straight girl so maybe I am not the best person to answer this but I will try...Coming out is a big step in your life, which is stupid because it shouldn't even have to happen, but in the long term it will make you feel a lot better, especially if it is affecting your mental health etc. However if you are not ready to come out than please don't feel pressured into doing so, take all the time in the world you need, relax. Everything will be fine, if you loose your best friends over coming out than I am sorry but they are not your best friends as if they was they wouldn't leave just because of your sexuality, at the end of the day it's a part of you.As for what to do, well that's down to you and coming out shouldn't be to make anyone else happy or to please anyone else, it's to do what you are most comfortable with and how happy it will make you!
