House Visual Novel Creators

🇵🇭 Yo! I'm Jaycen, or Jay for short. I’m the one who originally came up with the idea for a House MD Dating Sim (though honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if other people had thought of it too and just never ended up doing it…). When I first put the idea out there, I wasn’t super 100% serious about it. I didn’t really expect anything to come from it. Then Nep messaged me out of nowhere saying he was interested in helping, and I kinda went, “Hm. Let me think about it.” A couple weeks passed, and he checked back in to ask if the offer was still up and at that point I just said, screw it. Let’s Fucking Do It. At the start, I was pretty unsure. I thought it’d be just the two of us. I’ve worked on a fan-project before with another programmer, but it ended up getting canceled ‘cause we both got burnt out, and we couldn’t find anyone else to jump in and help. So I went into this with pretty low expectations. But seeing how many actually talented, dedicated, and genuinely excited people joined this project?? It’s wild. Every time I look at what people are making or how involved they are, it’s like WOW. This is real. And it’s cool as hell. Just seeing how much people care about it already makes me want to keep going. My tumblr is @titojefie.

🇵🇱 hello! i’m amber :3 i’m the lead programmer for this (also the only one) and a project manager. i saw jay’s tweet about maybe doing a house md visual novel and decided to dm him that i’d be down to work on it with him. at first he was kinda hesitant, he mentioned how overwhelming and exhausting it might get but we ended up making a discord server to see if anyone else might be interested in helping out. originally we thought it’d just be a small group but then suddenly a lot of people started joining. like, way more than expected. and it’s been kinda wild seeing how many insanely talented and dedicated people wanted to be part of it. honestly if that tweet never happened none of this would exist, and it’s weird seeing how far it’s come. even though it's just a demo so far there’s a whole team, and it feels like there’s something here worth making a bit bigger. it’s a lot, but i’m still glad to be doing this.
