12th anniversary baybey!!!

heard this song and knew i had to do it, i started working on this about a year ago and im super proud of how it came out!! i havent tried post-processing rendering stuff before and havent gotten to fully animate in a while so it was a really fun project~

I've I decided to have this drawing be either touhou or len'en since all the recent (and the next) ones were of my oc's.

Anyway we have the ghost Iyozane and her backstory, second panel is her body in the water, this was pretty fun to draw, I used @tittletattles's design for the first panel.

my termite ocs!! theyre literal termites but i like giving my bug ocs representative human forms for fun :)

isa and terry (localized pun names bc their real ones are just scents) used to be very close as nymphs and workers, until a particularly devastating ant attack left their colony with a shortage of soldiers. to keep the colony protected, the queen sent out pheromones to turn some of her workers into soldiers, and terry ended up being one of them. the change was all extremely distressing for her at first, but over time she became jaded and aggressive as a coping mechanism and trauma response to the Horrors of War she now had to experience. this drove a wedge between the sisters, since isa was a pacifist and too naive to understand the need for violence, and took for granted the life terry missed so much

id like to write a short story about them sometime, we need more insect xenofiction

since i decided to draw kujiru with no human eyes i wondered how they would roll their eyes while writing a fic and whipped this up in two hours

if you look closely at sanras sprites youll notice that the reason their left eye is bigger than their right eye is actually because their right eye is constantly in the half-closed expression (easily seen by flipping back and forth between their sprites)
