Last night

Was probably the last time we will spend the night together, for a while. We both have our problems but we love each other more than anything. You just telling me that you will always love me and that you haven't given up, means everything.

Did you find it easy to be best friends with your ex after you broke up? Or was it hard?

It wasn’t. It always felt awkward, when we’d go places I was tempted to hold her hand or have my arm around her. It didn’t feel right at all. We went a while without communicating, However we’re both quite reclusive so naturally when some hard things came up in either of our lives we only had each other to turn to, and we did.

I don’t like the idea of being friends with people I have intimate feelings for. I’ll be happy to be there if they really need me for something but it’s an unnecessary pain to put yourself through otherwise.
