Sebastian felt a little bad for being very absorbed with his move and reigniting his relationship with Nik and everything that came with that. But then he also knew Tj needed time in his new relationship and they had both had problems before with girls getting jealous of how close he and Tj were, so maybe a couple of weeks of distance had been a good thing. The man had two glasses ready for when he arrived but before Seb took those he wrapped himself around his bestie and kissed his cheek. “Fuck I missed you” he chuckled and then took a sip from the glass and sat down. “It totally sucks” Seb joked, “No more alone time, just constant attention from a man who’s totally in love with me who also happens to be the hottest man in town” he grinned. “It’s kinda like when I lived with you at college” he added with a laugh. “How about you? How’s the relationship life treating you?”

Tj returned the embrace with a light chuckle. He really was glad he and Sebastian had finally found some time for one another. “You better have fucking missed me. It’s been weeks, you asshole. Don’t let it happen again.” the blonde teased his best friend jokingly, taking a sip from his own glass. “Oh, that sounds like an absolute nightmare.” Tj joked back, referring to having a significant other who just gave him his full attention all the time. “Your opinion on who you think is the hottest man in town is totally biased. And I’m insulted you didn’t say I was the hottest man in town. How fucking dare you.” he scoffed playfully, rolling his eyes at Sebastian. “Ah, college. I miss those days. All the parties.....all the trouble we got into. It was fun.” he smiled in thought for a moment. “It’s good. Great, actually. Grace made a bedroom for Noah at her place. And a playroom too. It’s amazing.”

Grace was a action kind of girl and alway had been. If she said she was going to do something she did it right away. She and Sulley had made so many trips to Ikea that it was a wonder the interior designer had been able to fit it all in each room and make it look as instagram worthy as she did. His reaction alone told her that she’d have to give the woman a hefty tip. With money no longer an object, it was nice to give a kid something she’d never had, or even that Sulley had never had. The room of every kid’s dreams. “I know it’s a lot because he’s like three, but I wanted a room he could grow into.” 

Stepping back into him, arms lifting to wrap around his neck, her eyes couldn’t even lift to his face as she spoke, instead focusing on his chest as her fingers toyed with his hair. “Do you ever worry about having him around me? Like… I’m a bad influence or something?“

"It’s perfect, babe. I can’t wait till we can show him.” Tj knew his son was going to be super excited when he saw the rooms. Especially the playroom with all the toys in it. His eyes slowly moved back to Grace as she stepped close to him. Both his hands moved up to rest against her waist and as soon as she spoke, his brows were furrowing in confusion. “Why would I worry about something like that? You’re great with Noah, babe---” had someone said something to her? He wondered how long she’d been thinking this. “Hey--- look at me.” he moved his hand up and used his index finger to tilt her chin up slightly before speaking again.

"Where’s this coming from? Has someone said something to you? I don’t think you’re a bad influence at all. Noah loves you, Grace.” he shook his head, a little taken back by the sudden question she’d asked. “Don’t ever think, for a second, that you’re a bad influence to him.”

Tj: I've given him his dinner. If we end up staying out until late and he needs to go to bed he might need a bottle to help settle him down for the night tho.

The decorators had just left not an hour before and Grace had hardly moved from the place in front of the two doors that sat open and side by side. One was a playroom decked to the nines with shelves and it’s own TV set up with Netflix and everything. The other was Noah’s room and that’s really where her eyes stayed. Trey’s words about having Noah there all the time and her being ready for it played over and over in her head as her eyes drank in the star wars bedding and the space mural that covered the ceiling and the wall behind the bed. Even the light fixture was a glass deathstar. 

Taking a deep drink from the bottom of the bottle of wine in her hand, she’d just tossed the now empty bottle into the bin in the kitchen when she got Tj’s text. Even if she was freaking out just a tiny bit at the idea of having a tiny person at her house enough to have a room for him, or the fact that for some reason seeing the room done made her want to cry or some shit, the idea of showing it to him made it a little easier.

Meeting him in the hallway as he came in the door, Grace pulled him into a kiss, lingering there against his lips before speaking against them as well. “I have something to show you.” Sliding her hands down his arms until she could link their fingers together, Grace lead him through the house to the main floor bedroom that had once been her office, the door next to it formerly the never used gym. Pursing her lips she first pushed open the door to the playroom, eyes on his face the entire time, then took a step over and let the tension build for a moment before pushing open the door to Noah’s bedroom. “What do you think?”

A small smirk immediately formed on Tj’s lips as soon as his eyes landed on Grace and he was pulled into a kiss. A kiss he’d been looking forward to all day. “Something to show me?” he repeated softly against her lips, curiosity filling his eyes as he took hold of her hand and walked with her down the hallway and up to the main floor. They’d spoken about making Noah a room in Grace’s house for awhile now, but he had no idea she’d actually been working on making it happen so soon. So when the door swung open and the playroom was revealed to him, the blonde couldn’t stop the surprise showing in his features. “Babe--- this is, wow.” his eyes scanned around the room before his attention was quickly on the second room. Noah’s bedroom to be exact. There was so much effort put into these rooms. He could already see Noah having an absolute ball in both of them.

“I love it, babe. I really fucking love it--- you’ve done an amazing job here. Noah’s going to love it.” he shook his head in slight disbelief, his eyes soon moving back over to his girlfriend. “Looks like you’ve been keeping busy all day haven’t you? You know, my three year old isn’t going to wanna leave your place the next time I bring him here--- hell, I wish I had a bedroom like this when I was his age.” he laughed lightly, truly amazed by what Grace had done.

Tj was exhausted from work. He’d spent the entire day there not only training, but getting through some emails and paper work as well. Monday’s were always busy. A lot of PT sessions to get through--- he’d left the gym just after 5pm and rather than going back to his place, the blonde made his way over to his girlfriend’s place instead. Seeing Grace at the end of a busy day never failed at putting him back into a good mood. He always looked forward to the days he could leave work and see her straight after.

As soon as he got to her home, Tj sent her a message letting her know he was coming over. He still had one of the spare keys to her front door from the time he’d been staying with her, and so he used that to get into the place....figuring if she wasn’t home, he could just wait at her place until she got home. “Babe?” he called out.

Tj was heading back to the gym after grabbing some lunch from the diner just down the road. He’d spent most of his morning doing some PT sessions and had a whole hour to kill before his next one. Which just meant that he could use that time to work out, or just run a few errands. Whatever he was in the mood for. His attention suddenly moved over to someone walking a little further down the sidewalk. They’d dropped something on the ground and Tj hurried over to go grab it. “Hey, you dropped this.” he called out.

"Drink up, man. If you’re not drunk by the end of the night then I’ve failed you as your best friend.” Tj set two glasses down on the bar counter, taking one of them into his hand and eyeing Sebastian beside him. It had been awhile since they’d gone out and had a few drinks together. Of course, it had been understandable since Sebastian had been moving in with his boyfriend--- but now that things had settled down, there was nothing stopping them from having a guys night out. “So what’s it like not living alone anymore?”

“There is no way you’re actually getting up there. I’d rip the face off any woman that ever looks at you with that fucking hungry look.” He was hers, had been hers for more years that she could count, but now it was official and violence was nowhere near the limit that she’d go to make that very to clear. Shooting him a look as he dared to call her cute, Grace rolled her eyes and shook her head. “Hey, if I’m never going to have kids myself, I might as well make room for the one of two kids in the entire world that I love like my own. I mean, besides Sulley but he’s hardly a kid anymore.” At least age wise, that was. 

Ignoring the fact that she’d outright admitted to loving any kids besides Nova, Grace rubbed her lips together but held off asking of him what she really wanted to. Was it too early to ask him to move in with her? They were only recently official but really they’d been together since high school more or less. Rather be safe that sorry, she just shot a grin in his direction and leaned over to capture his lips in another kiss that she let linger despite the others in the room. “You could never leave and I’d be happy.” Close enough. 

"Hey, you’re the boss. I guess I’ll just continue sitting in the crowds watching then...” Tj smirked faintly. “Besides, the only hungry eyes I need on me, are yours.” the blonde added on a more serious note. Grace was the only woman he wanted. The only woman he needed. She’d been the love of his life since he was a teenager. He’d never felt so strongly for anyone else in his entire life. He playfully winked at her when she gave him a look after being called cute. He knew cute wasn’t exactly a common word people used if they were to describe Grace, but if anyone was going to tease her like that, it was going to be her boyfriend.

As she leaned over to kiss him, Tj couldn’t hide a small smile playing on his lips before returning the kiss. If he had things his way, he would have never left Grace’s place back when he’d been staying with her. Just being around Grace....coming home to her after a day of work--- it all sounded too good. “You say that now, but you’ll probably get sick of me eventually.” the blonde joked in a mumble against her lips, pulling back just slightly. “Waking up next to you every day sounds pretty fucking great to me though...”

Sebastian laughed easily at the surprise on Tj’s face and the way he almost cursed in shock, of course Noah then started laughing as well even though he had no idea what he was laughing about. “It is pretty serious talk, we were even researching how to go about starting the process, Nik is insistent that we have a mini version of me running around.” he shook his head a little, “But I’ll definitely be giving you a godson or goddaughter within a year. Don’t you worry” They were soon at the diner and Seb was able to let his arms rest and recover as he gave Noah back to his father and sat down in the booth. “I don’t want you avoiding each other, I’m saying this time you don’t need to posture with him, there is room in my life for two big and strong men who like to protect me” he chuckled. “And Noah can meet Klaus’s daughter and become best friends” he added with a nod before listening to Tj’s news and now it was his turn to be surprised and happy for his best friend. “About time! I’m so happy for you Tee” he grinned, leaning over the table to wrap his arms around the man and hug him tight “A great week all around”

"Oh god, good luck with that.” Tj teased jokingly after the mention of a mini Sebastian running around. “At least we know that our boys will be best friends. Especially if your kid is a mini version of you.” he smiled as he glanced over at his son in Sebastian’s arms. “I’m going to be that cool uncle who spoils your kid so much. Especially because I have no nieces and nephews to spoil, and probably won’t have any for another 15+ years.” he laughed lightly. Tj had a younger brother and sister, but they were much younger than him. In fact, they weren’t even teenagers yet. Taking Noah back into one of his arms, Tj walked over to one of the booths and sat down, letting his three year old sit on his lap. “Okay, look--- I’ll come over, but you gotta make sure there’s no awkward silences. Like.....don’t leave me alone in a room with him because that’ll just be weird.” he grabbed a menu from the table and started looking through it, a light laugh escaping him when he was pulled into a hug. One that the toddler in between them happily joined in on, wrapping his tiny arms around Sebastian. “Thanks, man. I’m really happy. She’s just.....she’s perfect.” he gushed shamelessly.
