Lotus at Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue, NY.  That was one of the best Lotus shows I have ever had the pleasure of being at.  They absolutely tore it up! I was pretty much doing jumping jacks while dancing.

Shooting fireworks from a moving ferris wheel felt like the biggest game of “moving target” I’ve ever played. Thankfully, the operators were super cool and stopped the wheel for longer than they normally would so I could get a steady shot.  

As you can see, the crooked lines in the shell-breaks show that there was still some slight movement in the ferris wheel cab.  Nonetheless, I’ll never forget the feeling of looking at my viewfinder and seeing this image; the framing is unreal!

Carnivals/fairs are straight up eye candy. Took me a few tries to capture this shot, super stoked on how it turned out.

Can’t wait to catch another sunrise at Montauk this weekend.  I’m amazed that I’m able to witness and capture this so close to home.

While setting up for 4th of July fireworks from Liberty State Park a huge storm threatened the rest of our day’s setup.  Those were some of the most ominous clouds I’ve seen; it looked like Ghostbusters was being filmed atop One World Trade.
