You know one of the most bizarre things about Kingdom Hearts? Mickey Mouse is a full character who plays a role in the plot.

Master Xehanort treats him as a significant threat, he was involved in Ansem’s research, he has Kingdom Key D, fought Vanitas, used the highest tier magic to stop time and save Sora, saved Riku, did a lot of things between BBS and KH1 and may be a Guardian of Light with the rest being original characters.

Mickey. Mouse.

And that isn’t counting the time he tried to get revenge because he thought Goofy died.
