Tribute art to my favorite Final Fantasy, IX. Played this back when I was a kid and it still has a special place in my heart. Everything about IX resonates with me from world, story, artstyle, characters etc. Garnet, Vivi and Zidane stand in particular as my favorites as they overcome strong personal dilemmas that can be deeply rooted in life as well as how intrinsic they are in each other’s character development. Those aspects made them truly authentic and relatable to me.
