Early in the journey I found the only observatory in the NPS at Chaco. Today found the only Planetarium in NPS at Rock Creek. One final unplanned stop. Driving US 15 in Maryland I saw the sign for the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. As much as I'm anxious to land in D.C. I couldn't help but stop to honor Craig Hunt who crashed and lost his life in front of us while battling the Dog Rock Fire in 2014.
