12moons of moonpledge!

WOW it’S been already 12 moons since the moonpledge testweek. I can’t believe how the moon year passed in the blink of an eye. I’m still moonpledgig, still, promoting, still following the dream and stilling loving Dogecoin :-)

I have learned a lot during the last 12 moons and I’m happy to share with you these results:

Dogecoin still has the least inflation/expansion rate of all the top open source peer to peer crypto coins

12 moons price is climbing

Dogeprice still about 22% price over 12 moons price

About 560 Shibes saw and voted on the moonpledge

More than 50% voted for a $ a day

Most are shy and coming forward to brag about it

My moonpledge status today is +35%, that means if I sold all my moonpledged Dogecoins today I would make 35% profit

If I just sold the Dogecoin I bought 12 moons a go I would make about 100% profit

Most of the time I do my moonpledgea and keep the google spreadsheets up todate

Lot of shibes want to help

I love Dogecoin and the moonpledge and will keep doing so and promoting

These are my plans for the future are quite clear:

Promote the moonpledge, also to other crypto comuninities

Write a Moonpeldge handbook with detail instructions and much expereince I gather in the last 12 moons

Build a Moonpledge App/Game that makes the Moonpledge much easy and fun

Build a German foundation that promotes Dogecoin, other open source peer to peer crypto coins and the Moonpledge

Give 50€ worth of Dogecoin in form of a paperwallet greeting card to the newly weds ;-)

New year is at our doors and it's time to look back and a glimpse at what 2016 has in store for us shibes:

So what this?

The golden line (blue line in the alternative chart) - well I guess you can recognize this chartline in your dream! ;-) For those who are new: the golden line represents the historic DOGE (XDG=DOGE) price in USD!

The silver moon like line is new (red and green line in the alternative chart) and it represents our course to the moon! ;-) Or it represents your Moonpledge status! Just check the date when you started your moonpledge and it will show you your Moonpledge status!

Example:

I started my Moonpledge on 05/18/2015. So I search on the timeline this date and voila: The Moonpledge chart shows 7.91%! A plus of 7.91% compared to the fiat I put in!

YEAH! Looking good, doesn’t it!

I was amazed my self but let me do some explanation before we get to exited:

The Doge price is distorted by the craptsy fiasco. If you calculate craptsy out of the picture you get a doge price that’s about $0.000134 at the moment!

Because this chart is made from coinmarketcap data and the Doge price there is actual about 0.0001477 you have to imagine the 0 line about 9.19% higher.

The Chart is historic. That means it can only show you the past and the last data is from yesterday.

The Moonpledge line will always end with 0, because if you launched your Moonpledge yesterday and the last data is from yesterday, well your status didn’t change = 0%

The Moonpledge status changes very rapidly. You will see if you check in the next time

I will update this chart min. three times a week and if my Moonpledge team shibes help me we can maybe get it updated every day

I'm new to Dogecoin and Crypto, but I really like your idea of stabilizing Doge... But I'm having trouble understanding the concept... Could you Explain it what 'holding' the currency means and how can I 'buy' Doge and so on? I would love to help the community :)

The Moonpledge in 77 seconds introduction video

I was out of the loop the last for the days and when I came back today I had three thoughts:

"Speech is silver, silence is golden", "a little less conversation, a little more action please" and "brick by brick"!

Thanks to all the Moonshibes doing their Moonpledge in secrecy and double thanks to the Moonshibes bragging about it from time to time! Dogecoin need's you all, especially now that were heading down to earth again.

I completely understand that most of you have better things to do during the summer than to sit in front of the computer. Or maybe you just stick to "silence is golden"?

But if you really want to reach the moon you have to do something about it - constantly. Like a sports pro preparing for a competition: training daily with the goal in mind.

If we are only a hand full of shibes bragging about the our Moonpledge the promotion effect is close to zero. And if you think to be on a sticky post is enough, your wrong! The Moonpledge is a community effort and the more shibes brag about it together, the bigger the promotion effect is and our numbers will grow.

I am prepared for the long run and I absolutely agree that at a certain point we will need something like a Moonpledge web app where you can put in your Dogecoin Moonpledge address and get all the statistics and the overview to see in detail whats going on with your Moonpledge and the Moonpledge in general. It would really help a lot to see that the Dogecoins are being moon pledged constantly by a lot of shibes and to have the proof of the Dogechain in the back!

Tthat's going to happen sooner or later and until than it would be great that our numbers grow to a four digits number :-)

The “Moonpledge” and the “Moonpledge” features!

The “Moonpledge” is a simple promise that you make to yourself! And it goes like this:

I will take minimum $1 every day or week or month or an equivalent amount in your fiat currency and buy as much Dogecoins as I can get!

I will hold this small amount of Dogecoins for a year or longer!

I will give 5% or more to charity before spending the Dogecoins I bought a year ago!

This little promise multiplied by a few thousand Shibes can accomplish this and more for us all on the long run:

Beat the inflation/expansion of 5.2 Billion Dogecoin yearly

Stabilize the Dogecoin price

Make the Dogecoin price more independent from Bitcoin price

Create a decentralized Dogecoin donation fund

What the Moonplege can’t do for us!

Create a DogEconomy, but it can be a basis for a stable price to build a economy on!

Save us from the speculators, but it can help us to recover faster after a massive dump.

Optional feature 2: Adjust your “Moonpledge” with the 12moons price frontier!

The 12moons price frontier is a calculated yearly mean average price of Dogecoin in fiat money. It’s an orientation for you to know when the price is being pumped by speculators so high that’s it’s more “expensive” than the yearly mean average of the last 12 moons.

If the price is above the 12moons price frontier it’s absolutely OK if you decide to pause your “Moonpledge” until the price drops under the 12moons price frontier. You have to decide for yourself, it’s just an optional feature to save our “Moonpledge” effort from being exploited. Just remember that the price always goes up and down and that speculators are always speculating. In the next few years many thousand “Moonpledgers” will hopefully hold the majority of Dogecoin and than the price will hopefully be more stable and less volatile.
