A blog dedicated to the Lightforged Vindicator, Asha'niandra. Alliance - Wyrmrest Accord. Note: All of the art on this blog is not mine unless noted. I will provide credit for authors if possible.
This character has transferred to Moon Guard to be closer to some old friends of mine. I look forward to meeting my Moon Guard followers and making new friends! This character is active even if I don’t post a lot. (I am horrible with social media.)
“End’hara. Come here.” Asha called to her son, a firm edge held her tone even as she tried to hide it. “You cannot bring this many toys… Please, pick your favorite.” Her hands gestured to the stuffed animals that litter his bed. They were all he packed, placing within the two smaller bags he had. Instead she removed them, placing his clothes, enough for one week, in their stead.
“End’hara. Hurry and pick.” Her voice rose louder than she wanted and in watching her son she saw him flinch. It hurt Asha seeing him like this, he knew something was going on, yet he didn’t know what.

“End’hara. Hurry and pick.” Her voice rose louder than she wanted and in watching her son she saw him flinch. It hurt Asha seeing him like this, he knew something was going on, yet he didn’t know what.
“I am sorry… We must hurry. We… We are going to visit your grandmother, but we must leave very soon.” She said, her eyes drawn in the direction their front door. They had to hurry, and so Asha rose, leaving him to pick his favorite, undoubtedly the elekk, as she moved to her room. Her bag was already packed, having done so several days prior when word first began to spread. They were to meet with the Prophet today.
Grabbing her bag from under the bed, she turned and left the room, calling out to her son as she did. “End’hara. Have you chosen yet? We must go, now.” Again, the sharpness came to the last of her words and she felt a pang of regret. Her anxiety and fears were coming out through her voice against the young boy, yet it was no fault of his own. This was all for him.
“Yes, mother.” He said, yet his room was empty, and his voice came from the front entry. “Is dad coming with us? Are you dad? We are going to grandmas.”
Asha froze, her hands clutching the frame of his bedroom door as her head snapped towards the front of their abode. Near the chairs in the front her stood her son; a massive hand resting upon his head as he husband looked to her from behind him.
“I wasn’t told of this, gathering…” His eyes locked upon her own, a hostility that she had never seen before lingering within them. “So, tell me. Is this at your mother’s or somewhere else?”
“It’s nothing.” Asha said, overcoming her initial panic. “My mother wished to see her grandson. It has been quite some time. I did not want to bother you as you have been… Busy lately.” She moved from End’hara’s doorway, stepping down the hall to meet her husband face to face in their common area. “Now we are all ready to go. Will you see us out?”
“Will I see you out?” His eyes drifted down to End’hara before picking the boy up and cradling him within his arms. “I don’t think any of you are leaving. I think.” He looked to End’hara. “That we will all be spending today together…” His eyes locked back upon Asha’s. “Isn’t that right Asha’niandra?”
A sudden wave of heat passed over her in that moment. Before her stood her husband, their child in his arms as he blocked the only exit. As they stared each other down she could feel the time slipping away from her, knowing that the others were meeting the Prophet soon. “Give me my son.” A firmness edging into her voice as she took a step forward.
“Or what?” He challenged.
“Jahnelle. Do not do this…” The Light began to form within her hands. “Let go of End’hara… You… You can stay as you wish. But this isn’t for our child, nor is it for me.”
Jahnelle’s eyes turned toward her hand, watching as the golden Light pulsated with energy; a faint smirk came to his lips. “You would steal our son’s potential from him. Is that what you want? For him to be nothing? Like you?” He crossed the short distance between then in a flash, his free hand wrapping around her throat, yet he didn’t tighten his grip. Instead, he left his hand there for several seconds before drawing it back. “The boy stays with me. He will be stronger, wiser and will rise further than he ever could with you…”
The Light flickered in her hands as she brought them up to her throat, rubbing at her neck.
“For the love I once bore you… Run.” Jahnelle stated, turning his head, and that of their son, away from her. Asha didn’t move; her eyes fixated upon her son. She couldn’t leave without him. Wouldn’t. “Run.” He growled. “Before you force my hand…”
“Not without End’hara!” Asha growled back, the Light flashing within her hands before dying out.
Run. A voice said in her hand as the Light flickered out of existence.
“You will not have my son… Run. This is the last time I am telling you.”
Run. Go to Velen. The voice continued, almost angelic like.
“I…” Asha said, torn between saving herself and saving her son. Yet the voice within her head became more demanding and soothing at the same time and at once she knew what she must do.
“End’hara. I love you.” She said before running, pushing passed her husband just as she stole her last look back, her eyes meeting End’hara’s frightened gaze before she stepped from her home and out into the streets. Out into the chaos and the distant screams.

TELL ME MOAR PLS. Backstory, what your rp goals might be, etc.
I have been thinking on this one over the night. I think the backstory would be best shared through a series of stories chronicling different aspects of her life. (Those I'll begin as soon as I get ahead on my portfolio project.)
But for a short synopsis; a former Anchorite on Argus, she was one of the few to see the truth in Velen's words and escaped with him. Yet the rage that burned within her was the deciding factor to remain upon the Xenedar and join Xe'ra. It was during this crusade that she picked up her hammer and learned to fight as a Vindicator. She became a Lightforged when she battled against her innermost demons of those closest to her that betrayed her.
My goals would have to be to create a RP network to really develop the character and to create stories with other players that are more meaningful than a simple random RP. (Although I do love random RP. Chances to meet so many people.)
This is the character I will be maining for RP content and I am open to any and all forms of RP. Friendships, hateships, short stories or long stories, and anything else that may come up.
My in game availability fluctuates as I work and go to school full time. But I am always available through Tumblr and discord!
Many of you will not recognize this blog, but may know my old main one, @musings-ofa-madman. I have decided to focus my attentions into a new character with a fresh backstory and a whole new world to explore! So welcome Asha, the Lightforged Vindicator. Look for me in-game (Ashaniandra)! I am always open for random RP or creating meaningful storylines to progress in.
