My nose has been bleeding for 6 hours
There’s blood in my trash can and alcohol in my toilet
Cigarette? No, this is my ingestible incense stick
Pictures of town 01/06/15 (when she came back)
It’s me and my 3 Tumblr followers against the evils
Religious psychosis ate my girlfriend
Pieces of Carmen
I was on my way home last night when I hit this animal? I drew it the way it looked lying in the road. I didn’t get a good look at it whole(?) and excuse my drawing skills. Anyways, anyone know what this is?
What’s it called when you’re parasocial with a person you know? Thanks
If I never say it, it was never done
Carmen Anderson, 2015
Snippet:
It’s a complicated thing, memory. Really, no memory is completely true. After something happens, it will never exist again- even on video it’s missing context. By now, there must be so many things that are believed by people who experienced it but aren’t actually true. That’s why, when Carmen’s mom would say, “I don’t remember that,” or, “that never happened,” there was nothing Carmen could do or say.
“I remember!-”
“You remember it wrong.”
“No! No, I was there and I remember-”
“You are just seeing it through your teenage hormones.”
Teenage hormones; the answer given like an excuse but never given the grace of one. It’s teenage hormones- but I’ll punish you for it. There was no other illness like adolescence, Carmen thought. No one ever says, “it’s a cold. But if you cough I’ll beat you for it.” Carmen learned at a young age that even drunkenness is more acceptable.
“I’m sorry, I was drunk,” her mom would coo over mugs of black coffee the morning after. Which is to say: “It never happened.”
ohhhhh ok this body is putrid and decaying i get it
There’s a new traffic light in town. It just flashes yellow. It’s the only traffic light in town.
