I signed up for a weight loss website today.  I’ve done it before and I guess it would be easy to say that means I won’t succeed, but that would not be terribly helpful would it!

My situation is pretty dire and I really don’t want to “sit in a room and wait to die.” - I think I’d have a lot of fun being mobile and healthy.  

The website gave me a goal to lose 50lbs by next August.  That seems pretty doable.  I did this little calculator of my food intake for the day and was surprised to find that the food I eat on a daily basis is actually below my allotted calories.  hmph.  Looks like I have some learning to do.

I don’t have the machinery to weigh myself so I’m just going to do the best I can and see how it goes.
