Another Art Fight draw!
Character belongs to Insomnex.
A poor little meow meown... Character belongs to Bugzdraws.
I liked the original sketch so much, I decided to keep it. (There's a sense of ennui that did not translate to the final version.)
I'm actually doing artfight this year! If you're also doing artfight, feel free to follow me.
This is too late to be relevant but... enter stage left, Jinx Jujube!
A pathological narcissist, Jinx Jujube is a clefairy from the moon! Xe staged a mutiny against xir captain, crashed the ship, and have since assumed leadership of their clefairy crewmates as well as the additional pokemon on their rescue team.
Xe usually look like... y'know. A clefairy. But it was fun to draw xem as a gijinka
It's that time of year again... the time of drawing!
Finally pulled together a reference for teen Mercer! Still not sold on the pants, but they can stay... for now.
Edit: Fixed some of the proportions and I think the face... looks correct now.
My hand is cramped...
A moment from a D&D session several weeks ago. I started it, got overwhelmed, and took a break. Most of the time when I "take a break" I never get around to finishing it. But this time I did!
It was really refreshing to limit myself to a sketchier style as well as grayscale. I've always felt intimidated and frustrated by shading, but working without colour made it more digestible for my brain. I'm looking forward to trying more things like this (especially since I prefer sketching scenes to reference models).
Hollow is easily my favourite part.
An artificer eldritch cannon. He's just a little guy.
Original concepts for my D&D character, Ransom, a soulknife rogue! I settled on the third design (with the addition of a cloak).
Also included are a tender smooch with his girlfriend and a set of expressions to mock one of his party members.
I drew these so... so long ago...
A while back I drew a creme brulee ice skater troll as a creative exercise. I liked incorporating the ramekins. :)
A little late this year, but apparently every January I gotta draw another Legend of Zelda OC...!
... just one more!
Art dump! Who would have guessed? It’s a bunch of trolls. And exactly one troll mom.
Sometimes I do art still.
Edit: Swapped some colours!
Time for trolls to start dominating my art blog again...!
I went through two whole other drawings of this character before I finally got him to look right. Sylvil Lunati, inspired by my very own bastard bunny children and hypnotism. Overall a very bad man. No one is surprised.
(Reference: Rock and Roll’s a Prostitute featuring Paul Lemaire photographed by Hadar Pitchon and styled by Marc Anthony George for Fucking Young!)
Slowly getting these hands to work again! Riff off an old character, reborn as a vampire bard.
Edit: I cannot keep my hands off his stubble. Hopefully this time it sticks!
Caption: “Let’s negotiate.” Alternative caption: “Make me an offer.”
A dirty, sleazy, sell-your-own-garbage-back-to-you, travelling salesman.
Another old OC from a tabletop. I was digging through some old files, found multiple (ancient), unfinished drawings of her, and decided she deserved to have some complete art.
