Today's Assignment: Sex/Relationships by Justin Alan
Woke up next to a hot girl again. Literally she is on her iPhone right next to me. She is browsing her own Tumblr currently.
Lately I have been keeping close relations with a couple humans at a time. Not like group sex, just one partner at a time but multiple ongoing friendships/sexual partners/"love" interests. This has been quite fulfilling. I have been able to emote a lot more. I've learned some things about my own sexuality along the way. People will obviously remain nameless in this post but everyone has something of value to bring to the table.
I've been taking an improv class (I know this sounds of topic but stay with me) and working with a group of people every week to improve as a whole is awesome. It very much works like my relationships. Not all improvisers have the same strengths or weaknesses. If I'm starting a scene and I need a goofy male character I know who to grab, if I'm starting a scene and need a sassy female character I know who to grab. It's important to know the strengths of those in your life and play to those strengths. If you don't acknowledge that people are different and should be treated as individuals you might run into some undesirable emotional responses from your loved ones. If you have one person that you take with you everywhere, and they happen to NOT like your favorite activity, things like resentment and frustration can come up.
So I'm not saying everyone should have multiple open relationships, just treat life like improvisers handle a scene, play to people strengths and if you can't or won't, don't get mad when your partner messes up or doesn't enjoy the activity at hand.
We don't all love the same things, but we all love.
Thank you for reading,
Justin Alan.
