JDKWKRKIR I actually am behind on the manga so I have no idea what I theorized actually happened or didn’t happen but that’s cool to know! Did you read my posts about the different ideas of why Touya became Dabi? I’m curious how accurate those were. I seriously need to read like how did I spend months of my life writing theories about this only to not read it when it’s confirmed lmaoo

I saw you reblog a post earlier that mentioned the reason why Shoto didn't recognize Dabi but I just wanted to let you know that isn't completely accurate. I don't mean this to sound like rude or whatever, just wanted to give you all the facts 😊. The Todorokis think Touya is dead, there was a panel in one of the chapters showing an 'altar' to Touya with a picture of him as a kid (around middle school age I'd say). That's likely why no one recognized him.

Yeah that was a theory I made like 2 years ago that I’m re-reblogging because the main point of it (him being the eldest) was officially confirmed in the manga. It would be impossible for me to totally guess the story, but I’m still pretty happy since it was pretty close

My bet: Dabi is 23-26 (Endeavor had him at 20-22) and the eldest Todoroki child. Important to note that this was said:

The fact that Shouto didn’t recognize Dabi when they met during the training camp arc was always a point against the theory, but if Dabi is within this age range, his age gap with Shouto is 8-11 years- it explains a lot. If Dabi left at say 18, Shouto would only have been around 10. Plus his hair and body is very different to how Shouto most likely knew him.

Just quick theorizing but wow I’m hype. This is all similar to what I’ve said in the past so I’m seriously so excited
