Here’s another account from someone who not only met Lindsey Way once but had the misfortune of running into her two more times... What is so hard about her at least pretending to like the fans? That letter she gave Luscious Jackson seems more and more authentic...

(if you're going to treat a fan badly, at least give them their money back; at least someone paid for your art)

For those who want to know the full context:

The Beastie Boys were a punk band in the 80s and 90s where the drummer decided to form her own band called lucious jackson; this band was a sister band to the Beastie Boys because they were on the same label and because they were also friends. The band left the scene in the early 2000s but returned in the 2010s with a new album, being active again, a type of "activity" emerged among several celebrities which was to write a letter recounting some experience related to them.

And this is important because it's really confusing how Lindsey wants to do everything about her. When I looked into it further and reread the letter several times, I realized it wasn't something familiar, but rather something in Lindsey's mind.

It was literally an activity of sending letters to a band about their return, and she decided to write about how it bothered her to see people who were fans of her husband because it made her feel forgotten or something like that (besides comparing her marriage to a curse).
