Guatapé - Pueblo de Zócalos is know for its zócalos. Zócalos are colorful 3D depictions of village life that you can find adorned on façade of many structures in this very religious #Colombian town. The town's motif - the lamb is seen painted looking back. El Peñón de Guatapé - a colossal, stutured (with 740 stitches aka steps), granite, worshipped by the indigenous Tahamí monolith sits on the bottom of a hydroelectric dam. Fun fact - it was first ascended in the 1950s using sticks that were fixed against the face of the rock.
