Belos x Luz is one of the most underrated/underappreciated ships in TOH history.

Amity’s character centers around Luz too much. She should’ve had her own focus episode where it didn’t have anything to do with Luz. Vee was a boring character that served no purpose in the story and wasn’t needed.
Not really a hot take it was more a wish but it think it would have been cool if Hooty and Belos got some screen time together
Out of The Disney Channel Story-driven Cartoon Trio (GF, Amphibia, ToH), ToH is my least favorite.

It's really funny how some people immediately lose it when they find out that someone's favorite character is Belos. I'm a big fan of Belos and I make no secret of it, and I've met so many people who wished me dead just because of my fondness for a fictional character. I've met people who have even told me that I approve of genocide or m@sturbate to a photo of Hitler. Seriously, WTF?

Belos is the smartest character in the entire series. Just look at what he's done. He was timeless for his time.
Darius wouldn't be the best dad in all honesty.
If he ever adopts Hunter it would probably not be the healthiest relationship. At least not at first. Not after the years of Darious either ignoring Hunter or soft-core bullying him.
Even if Darius would change, it would still have effect on Hunter. Just like Belos's manipulations, the emotional swings. From being hostile, angry, annoyed, disappointed to unexpected and out of nowhere "I'm impressed" and "I'm proud of you".
Hunter can easily fall into the old patterns of trying to be careful around Darius and simply doing what he can do to please. So.. Darius wouldn't be the best dad. But it would be really interesting to read how he becomes better for Hunter, even with all his misgivings.
Jock Amity should have been utilized more.
The writers shouldn't have given Hunter any romantic interest. Instead, focus on his journey to healing from his trauma from Belos

Eda's voice acting isn't all that great and she sounds super unenthusiastic and unconvincing especially in series one
It’s pretty clear most Belos fans were really embarrassed that the fave they were obsessing over turned out to be a guy who hates minorities and women but instead of just accepting and adjusting they all insisted on quietly dancing around that part as much as possible, downplaying it, or blaming the kids show for not being more explicit when every teenager understood after hollow mind with their memes about Belos having a heart attack over gay people.
The fact that I’ve seen people try to argue that Belos is respectful to Luz when he puts in the most bare minimum effort to persuade her before immediately attempting murder is kinda insane. It’s like people think racism begins and ends with wanting to kill minorities on sight as if slavery and white saviors didn’t exist. Some did NOT pay attention in history and it shows!!!

Why doing anything with Belos in the fandom so taboo?
Caleb was an asshole for abandoning Philip when he was still a child and Caleb is much more responsible for Philip becoming a monster than the fandom likes to admit.
Belos was totally gay and that’s why he didn’t make the Boiling Isles homophobic despite the puritan upbringing. Also he needs more therapy than anyone else in this fucking show.
Huntlow was overrated and Hunter should’ve been allowed to get therapy and recover from all the trauma before getting shipped with his first ever friend. My god Hunter was not fucking ready to have a healthy romance back when the flyer derby episode dropped.Not after spending his whole life hinging his self-worth and life on his ability to shut up and do what he’s told. Crushes are fine and all, but he needed therapy not romance, and I guarantee 15-16 year old Huntlow would’ve fallen apart from Hunter being too scared of ruining things to actually communicate anything. (This is not about the timeskip)
