Its fairly embarrassing to read your own old posts as is, but its specially embarrassing if theyre old posts in a language you have much more knowledge on now.

earlier this month i posted some comparisons between orangepeel, onionskin's 1.0 art vs 1.1. here's a little taste!

play orangepeel, onionskin here
This was a really beautiful experience, really intimate and heartfelt, its a melancholic and regret ridden story of romance that until the very end felt like it was choking a sob.
Slightly reminded me of the caterpillar by suehiro maruo, not only because of the erotic and grotesque aspects, but also because of the guilt felt all throughout the story, the longing for another chance, thousands of unrequited feelings and fantasies slowly dissapearing as the inevitability of their present sets them doomed. The main difference is that, here, at least they get an ending together.
I cried, it was really, really touching.
Orangepeel, Onionskin VERSION 1.1 is OUT!

Wanted to actual add informarion about Venezuela the economics of the country were already very very bad read about the food and medicine crisis between 2016-2018 before the sanctions in 2019 not everything is about the us ,Venezuela dictatorship has been ruining the country in the past 26 years does that mean we support trump blindly ? No absolutely no but we want our dictatorship to be over more
Oh yes absolutely, maduro's dictatorship in venezuela is the direct cause for the extreme poverty and repression in the country. It is normal that after 13 years of such an unjust corrupt system someone would support trump's intervention simply because it's seen as an escape. While i dislike the exceptionalism applied to venezuela's dictatorship, it is impossible to negate that it was bad.
As you said, many are happy with the idea that the dictatorship is over, unfortunately, that is not the case, chavismo as a system is still in place, the structure of the country is still there.
My
The point i was making in the post this question is referring to wasn't that the only reason for the economic collapse of venezuela was US sanctions on its oil exports, that is simply untrue and doesn't take into account how these difficulties were only exacerbated by the sanctions rather than imposed by them. The point was that due to this economic sanctions, which are not exclusive to the ones in 2019, venezuela depended on other imperalist nations, what some may refer to as the "1st world." Those countries were russia and china.
As stated in that post, trumps invasion is little more than an administrative change, venezuela now depends and serves to US interest.

the US wants to run Venezuela through just a conglomerate of oil companies. this is pure extractive colonialism and imperialist aggression. not to like be iranian on main but. oil. it's always fucking oil.
To add on more to contextualize this, and, correct me if im wrong, but after venezuelas oil exportations and so, its economy, were incredibly crippled because of economic sanctions, they depended on other imperialist powers like russia or china.
The US invasion is little more than an administrative change.
