I can’t stop thinking about how annoying and adorable Nico must have been at that time, and how Dionysus must remember that once bright-eyed child.

I mean, to be honest, Dionysus is kind of an asshole god, but so are most of the other gods, too. Even then, though, Nico is probably one of the only people to have ever complimented him like... that. No doubt he was a little flattered, because other demigods don’t say that his powers in a Mythomagic game are “sweet.”

I wonder if Dionysus looks at Nico now and thinks about that moment he first met the child of Hades. He probably feels a great sense of loss, because as I’m sure he knows, demigods don’t live happy lives. Nico came to camp with a positive outlook, and now he’s here getting therapy from Dionysus. Maybe some part of the wine god was hoping Nico could get a happier ending, but here he is, depressed and traumatized.

But I also like to think about the fact that Dionysus likes to tease Nico about this moment, call him out for being such a nerd during their therapy sessions, if only to bring out that inkling of the bright-eyed child he met that day. Maybe even Nico laughs about it.

I feel like their dynamic is so interesting, and I’m really hoping we can get more of it in the potential Nico book.

Ok, right now I’m feeling a lot of things after reading the last chapter and to say goodbye to the masterpiece that Haikyuu is i want to explain why Haikyy had the PERFECT last chapter, THE MOST PERFECT END

1. First, Furudate went straight to our feelings, he played the ace of the nostalgia to begin the last chapter of a manga that many people has been following for years, he showed us ALL of them together, he let us say bye to almost every single character of the story

2. HAHAHAHAH two of the most socially awkward characters saying “ we’re also best friends” .It’s the end but “the laughter was not lacking” i mean THIS is Haiyuu too. It’s not only the story of Hinata following his dream, is a bunch of guys following their dreams too, and making friends and constructing relationships in the process, is high school, is life!

And not only them, every single team kept their friendship after graduate. Nekoma, Karasuno, Fukurodani, Shiratowizawa, Aoba, Inarizaki... Not everyone continued with the volleyball track but that didn’t stop them to still be friends (tell me about editor Akaashi and athlete Bokuto)

3. JUSTICE FOR OIKAWA aaaaaaaa finallyyyy, i know I’m not the only one who after saw Aobajohsai lost to Karasuno felt soo bad for Oikawa and the fact that he was never going to make it to the Nationals, but thiis is soooo him, it’s something that Oikawa would totally do. “The i’m gonna beat everyone “ was thiiiis

4. “Yo, need the bathroom at all?” HAHAHAHA on 401 Kageyama lost against a Hinata who doesn’t get nervous to the point of needing to go to the bathroom anymore, but there he is on 402 asking again HAHAHAHAHA this is their friendship, they are on the Olympics and continue being dorks

5. “let’s once again prove to the world that volleyball is fun” AAAAAAA YES YES YES that was Haikyuu for me, Haikyuu was fun. 2012, 2020 F-U-N even when they lost, even when they fought, the story always was so much fun.

And that “Set the ball a whole bunch for me today ok? “ and “if your bumps are good enough “ GUYS a piece of my died and resurrected again after reading that panel , they’re on the National team and keep acting like Karasuno’s days T-T

Haikyuu was a beautiful manga, nobody died, nobody lost their memories of their family, nobody had dozens of children to keep with the story...

I feel completely proud of Furudate sensei and I’m so grateful to have been able to read this manga all these years. Also i feel sad, it’s the end of complete weeks waiting for the next chapter, the tension, the goosebumps reading...

The end was perfect, they even made it to the worldstage, Furudate didn’t gave us a lot of kids winning the most important high school tournament, he went further and gave us the end of a full journey full with realistic feelings like the failure, jealous, happiness....

I’m not ready for Haikyuu to end, i mean i really really want Hinata being the one who gets the victory at the end but i just can’t prepare myself T-T

First, CHAPTER 400!!! Omg

The final of the last week chapter was soo amazing, like it happened so many things but we enden with Kageyama smiling so soft and ansnekeke and Hinata just knew what was going through his brain with one glance. They keep understanding each other even when they’re not on the same team anymore T-T

Aaaaaaa when all banners of the monster generation started to appear i was like AAAAAAAAAA didn’t you feel it guys? The goosebumps? T-T

And my baby Akaaaashi, I’m a kagehina shipper but bokuaka is like the game over of this manga. Akaashi doesn’t play with Bokuto anymore but he still his ace and it’s like “world, are you watching my baby star?” <3

“I don’t see value on your game without Kageyama as your setter” AAAAAAA hello? Character development? T-T Hinata has always been a player who takes setters to their limit but this panel was so precious, like the “who needs memories” also being for him. I’m not Osamu and you’re not Kageyama but we are the best right now.

Sooo it was full chapter centered on Atsumu’s abilities juju, but let me tell you that i felt an intense “he’s not your man anymore” vibe coming from Atsumu in the first panel

I meaaaan, look Kageyama’s face, he was all “im your king bby” and then Atsumu from the back all “if you’re the king then im his god now” and Kageyam all “we are not alone,huh?” ajskekeke Furudate is given us a jealousy Kageyama? Ajskekeke

Ok i know that is not a real context and is all in my head but I’m gonna take what i can before this beautiful manga and my kagehina ends T-T

But really when i read “the greatest contender part 2” I thought it was going to be about Hinata today but it was more like a setter thing, ajskjee i guess is not Shoyou’s time yet I hope he doesn’t get changed for Oliver T-T

Do you think Furudate is still keeping some other ability for Hinata to show? I was happy when he showed his new repertory but I can’t help myself waiting for more ajskejskdjw I don’t want this to be all that Hinata has to offer when Kageyama just keeps coming with new stuff u-u

I read Haikyuu since 2013 and i have never realized that the only flashback that we had of Kageyama’s life was his king phase in Kitagawa Daichi T-T. i feel like my eyes were open after 7 years aksjsjdjdjfjr

BUT FIRST

Kageyama Tobio HAS a sister?!!! I’m sure i’m not the only one which all this years had this headcanon of Kageyama being a only child whose parents are never around (the fandom asserted that one, point for us) But I’m SOOOOO HAPPY that Baby Kageyama had people around him and that he hasn’t always been this emo guy T-T

Next, I think that is important for us the fandom and for the manga to be clear that Kageyama isn’t just a genius or a prodigy, he’s a guy that even before being able to speak was already breathing voleyball, he has a talent of course but more important he had dedication AND a guiadence not only for the game also the self maintenance.

I’m not gonna die for corona virus because my heart died when Kageyama Kazuyo died T-T

So if whe look good to the Haikyuu’s timeline I’m almost sure that Kageyama’s “King of the court” phase matches whit his grandpa’s dead and god Furudate THANK YOU for give us the chance to know that it isn’t true that the only thing that Kageyama cares about is volleyball. This King of the court was just the reflex of a sad kid who has lost his grandpa, the person which he spended the most time with T-T

People, this is character development 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

“WILL COME AND FIND YOU” AAAAAAAAAA in this context in which Kageyama is obviously thinking about Hinata is just SO BEAUTIFUL T-T Kageyama Tobio is recognizing Hinata Shoyo , the guy he put his faith in 7 years ago. Now I understand why Kageyama waited for Hinata, inside him he kind of know that Hinata could be this person who would find him T-T

And I’m obviously a Kagehina shipper so this was so precious for me Ansjsjdjd

This week we got a lot of Tsukki, didn’t we? I know their relationship wasn’t the best in first year but Tsukkishima remember when Hinata changed and every porpouse he did ajejsjs i want Furudate to give us third year Hinata/Tsukki I’m sure they are friend now 👏🏻and see the match in his point of view is interesting.

I know Hinata is gonna make it to the National Team , i feel it in my hear!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA CAN WE TAKE A MOMENT TO TALK ABOUT HOW PERFECT WAS THIS WEEK’S CHAPTER?

This is important not only because Nicolas freaking legend Romero knows about Hinata and recognizes him, (or because Kageyama and company will know that Hinata didn’t lose his time in Rio) is also important because of this

We all remember how Haikyuu started?

Hinata has become the “Little Giant” of someone ,in this case the “Ninja shoyo” of nobody but the son of one of his idols Nicolas Romero and Shoyo doesn’t know yet akejejdjdjejsid

This is one of the sweetests things Furudate has given to Hinata’s character. The possibility of give someone else the wings that the little giant gave him to chase a dream.

His character for the professional volleyball world has been until now “Kageyama’s partner” but Hinata grew SO much in Brazil. I really hope he wins this match👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Ok, we all know what the 9/10 means in the fandom

In their 1st year Hinata and Kageyama were 9/10 but I we look the to the flashbacks of their 3rd year their numbers weren’t sequence from each other anymore

We still don’t know why Hinata didn’t took the 4 (the ace’s number) or why Tsukkishima took the 3 but is something that catches my attention
