Each week of OTP Summer Dreams Month will have a special theme, as follows:
June 1 to June 7:Â Make a Wish Week
Have you ever wished that someone would write a story wherein Sean and Elijah are circus acrobats or Sam inherits the ring and Frodo is his trusty sidekick? Is there a canon gap that you’ve always wanted filled? A sequel to that beloved fic that you’d love the author to write? A scene you’ve wished someone would illustrate? A favorite photo of Sean or Elijah or Frodo or Sam that you’d love to see the other half manipped into? This is your chance! Make a wish, and who knows, maybe it will be granted during week 4, aka ‘Wish Fulfillment’ week! In conjunction with Make a Wish, we will have an anonymous kink meme going, so if you want to request, say, Sean and Elijah as sloths having sex upside down as they hang from a tree branch, you can do so with impunity and no one to see you blush. :-)
June 8 to June 14:Â Keepsakes & Testimonials Week
Or ‘rec and review’ week if you prefer. This is your chance to turn everyone on to your favorite Frodo/Sam or Sean/Elijah fics and artwork. We are also encouraging people to read and leave feedback. We all do it: read a fic and intend to go back and leave a comment, but somehow time gets away from us. Well, now you can make up for lost time! This week is all about giving to our favorite writers and artists, whether through reccing their work or leaving comments to let them know how much we love and appreciate them. And we have awesome badges as rewards, depending on how many recs and reviews you make! In addition, there will be a Three Sentence fic challenge and lots more!
June 15 to June 21: Do you remember…? Week
It’s time to bring out your old Frodo/Sam and Sean/Elijah fics and artwork! Yes, this is a repost week, when you have a chance to share your own writing and art with the community. We will be alternating days between Frodo/Sam and Sean/Elijah, and it’s a perfect chance for people to revisit your older stories or discover them for the very first time. In addition, there will be a Six Word fic challenge and lots more!
June 22 to June 30:Â Wish Fulfillment Week
Were you bitten by one of the plot bunnies requested during ‘Make a Wish’ week? During ‘Wish Fulfillment’ week, you have your chance to make the requester’s wish come true! While requests can still be filled after OTP Summer Dreams Month is over (and we highly encourage people to do so!), we hope that at least some of the wish granting will go on during this final week of the celebration. We love our old favorites, but there can never be enough new Frodo/Sam or Sean/Elijah creations!!
For the duration of the celebration, both non-member and anonymous posting and commenting will be enabled, to encourage as many people as possible to participate. Of course, we’ll be utterly delighted if you join the community, but it won’t be required. And please do feel free to pimp the celebration in your own blogs!!

We have lots of special events planned, including fic writing challenges, both short and long; an anonymous kink meme; caption contests; themed icons; fic reposts and recs, and more! There will even be prizes for the participants!
Further details will be forthcoming closer to the start of the celebration, but please help us spread the word now so that as many people as possible can join in the fun and squee!
