Hi! I absolutely love Shifting Borders and Chanta, and the amount of inspiration your art has given me is insane!!

Just for fun I was curious if you have voice headcanons for any of your characters?

Hi! How fun, I love these kind of asks! I don’t have too many voice headcanons tbh, but I do have accent headcanons, haha. The Chanta have a mongolian accent, mainlanders polish and islanders nigerian. As for voices, I think Chimamanda ngozie adichie have a great voice and accent, so I occasionally imagine Geraldine with that voice (but i dont think Adicihie would appreciate, haha). I also really liked Viktors voice actor in Arcane, so I was thinking something akin to that for Bosie, though I believe that is more of a russian accent.

I also love hearing other peoples voice headcanons tho! And thank you!

Hey! I loved the latest SB update but I was a bit (pleasantly ofc) surprised to see any of your comics updated given that you're probably busy making the Chanta book! If you have some time, could you tell us how it's going on the book front and maybe tell us about the process in the near future or when you're done?

Hello! How nice, thank you. The book is getting pretty close to the end. Its mostly just small stuff left (like making the blurb and the author page haha). Im done with drawing it. I havent made any big announcements since it has been very uncertain when it will actually hit the marked. But it looks like it will be the first week of June this year. But i will definitely start promoting it soon. Probably at the end of February.

Should shifting borders be read after Chanta?

Shifting Borders is set three years prior to Chanta, so I recommend starting with SB. However, there will be some spoilers for Chanta, but mild.

Wait, if shapeshifters lose their ability to turn back into their humanoid forms when they get older, does that mean Jochi will have to leave Bosie at some point so that he doesn't eat/kill him on instinct in his shapeshifter form? That'd be so sad....

Leaving is better than the alternative, I'd say! But we'll see what they figure out ; )
