I was really sad yesterday to hear of the death of my local barber, Nick Davey. I've been visiting the barbershop in Guildford since he opened his shop and he was always nothing short of stellar and a bloody nice guy, always a great atmosphere in the shop and that was very much down to him. My thoughts go out to his family, at 28 he was taken too young. Life is cruel. I photographed him in 2015 as part of some personal work around Guildford shooting trades people. http://ift.tt/2m48xpt

No trip to NYC is complete for a photographer without dropping by B&H, I caught up with the wonderful gent that is @getdeluxe last night and we discussed how little both of us cared about equipment these days which was super refreshing. New York City you have been a crazy place for a few days but I'm glad to be coming home, it's been super productive and had some great meetings and I will be back soon!
