Grian is actually completely normal and people tend to exaggerate his whacky-antics. It's actually Maui you need to be afraid of.
Grian is just some guy who likes a good prank once in a while. It's Maui, his cat, who works behind the scenes to escalate them into wars. You'd be surprised how effective it can be to know just when to get underfoot or lead someone in the wrong direction, so that by the time they find Grian's prank, they're annoyed enough to retaliate.
Why does he do it? Well...when the server is peaceful, Grian is building, and when Grian is building, he's not sitting in his base scheming and petting Maui as he brainstorms. If your currency is scritches and warm laps to sit in, being a warmonger is very profitable!

Matching PJ Set Headcanon
ok so ya know how the ninja all have those matching pajama sets and its like super random and out of character for some of them? Well my new personal headcanon is that Wu initially got them for Zane because he came to the monastery with nothing but the clothes on his back, having been homeless, and then Wu bought them for the other ninja too so Zane wouldn’t feel singled out. Thank you for coming to my ted talk

Lloyd
Since Lloyd read a ton of comic books as a kid, he took inspiration from his favourite comic hero’s when developing his fighting style
Lloyds hair is naturally brown, he dyes it blonde because he looks almost exactly like his father which is too painful for him
Physical affection is very important to Lloyd
He’s too shy to show anyone, but Lloyd is actually great at drawing
Lloyd REALLY likes dogs
He swore all of the time during seasons 1-2 because he thought it made him sound more evil
Nya
(this was mentioned in a previous post) Nya has gray hairs due to the stress she puts on herself in season 5
Nyas social battery is much lower than the rest of the ninja
Nya loves listening to music and is rarely seen without headphones
Nya genuinely enjoys math
Nya has a peanut allergy, the rest of the ninja bully her for it
Cole
Cole often forgets to brush his teeth and has had more cavities than the rest of the ninja combined because of it
Cole LOVES horror movies and forces the others to watch them with him
Even though he can’t cook, Cole loves watching cooking shows and makes zane cook any dish that catches his eye
Cole sings in the shower, loudly
Cole collects posters to hang on his bedroom walls
Next to the living room, Coles room is the designated hangout spot for the ninja
Kai
Kai is dyslexic
He’s the biggest hopeless romantic out of all of the Ninja
Kai is super prone to acne
Kai vocal stims a lot
Out of all of the ninja, Kai gives the best hugs
Because of his elemental powers, Kai is always warm and often wears tank tops and shorts no matter how cold out it is. The rest of the ninja use him as a heat source regularly
Zane
When out in public, Zane likes to role play as his own characters
Zane wears a lot of patterned sweaters
Because of his elemental powers, Zane basically functions as air conditioning for the Monastary and Destinies Bounty
Zane is super into photography and is trying to convince Wu to turn a room in the Monastary into a dark room
Zane infodumps the most out of all of the ninja
Zane loves watching movies and has organized family movie nights with the rest of the ninja
Jay
Jays room is filled with random items he’s collected as souvenirs from his adventures
Jay had a semi-popular gaming channel on the ninjago equivalent to Youtube, the other ninja found it and left exclusively hate comments
Instead of blushing, small sparks of electricity emit from Jays cheeks, he’s accidentally shocked Nya several times due to this, she doesn’t mind
Jay uses his elemental powers to charge various electronics when needed
When he’s overwhelmed, Jay plays with his hair and chews his nails
Ok look ik we’re all mourning the finale right now but i wanted to point this out...
Can we talk abt how supportive Cole was being to Jay???
Like they’re all hurt and grieving so bad right now, but Cole knows how hard this is on his best friend because he knows Jay, and he knows he doesn’t handle losing people well and he just lost Nya...
And he’s just there to put on hand on Jay’s shoulder for comfort... (because he knows touch is how Jay needs comfort might i add)
Also this little scene right here???
Jay sounds so defeated and Cole’s just right there for him.
Not to mention Cole, along with Bentho, was the one who found Jay drowning.
His best friend almost died. Then when Jay was saved, he could barely even stand, yet was still so determined to do everything he could to try and get Nya to stay. So Cole knows Jay’s taking this hard.
My point is that Cole is a great best friend and we don’t deserve him
It just ahhh... everything hurts
