We are all inherently guilty, but it is possible to make a change. We have to do it on an individual level, but government and business have to do it on an institutional level as well. Today was a historical moment in Utah, the clean air movement rallied to show it's solidarity and message was clear. http://cleartheairutah.org/index.html

Just spent a great birthday week in Indian Creek. A little climbing, and a lot of shooting. It was a pleasure to work with Jeremiah Watt, Pamela Pack, and Scott Turpin documenting some incredible offwidth climbing.

Two weeks ago today was the first annual Psicocomp, held in Park City, Utah at the Olympic ski jump training pool. It was the brainchild of Chris Sharma, and executed by him and a crew of dedicated climbers..Mike Beck chief among them. There were hiccups, but overall it was a huge success and everyone seemed to agree (most of all the competitors) that it was the best climbing comp ever held on US soil. Major respect to all who made it happen, and thanks for letting me be a part of the team documenting it. more pics here
An interesting slice of americana shows up in my neighborhood every July 24th for Utah's Days of '47 Festival, or Pioneer Day. In the morning it's the parade and later that night it's a fireworks show and the streets are usually packed. Most towns across Utah have some version of this going on.
