Bitcoin

The current Bitcoin craze has been apparent the past few months sending bitcion owners into definite europria, the virtual currency keeps increasing value that no one ever expected. Many people have acted fast to buy bitcoin to try and be apart of the day to day increasing crypto currency. But some news articles have been reporting that the high increasing price of bitcoins could have negative effects on the US dollar. I also have seen that if the bitcoins value falls below a certain amount all of the people who have invested in bitcoin will lose all of the money they have invested, at the fork many people boought out there bitcoins for US dollar but turns out they couldve kept it till now and returned double of what they made when pulling their bitcoins at the fork.

Ryan Shazier

On Monday night I was watching the Steelers vs. Bangles game when suddenly line backer Ryan Shazier of the Steelers took a hit to head during a legal tackle when he suddenly dropped to the ground and grabbed for his back. Thats when audience relaized he couldn’t walk. The hit the head and neck must have damaged his spinal cord causing him to be paralyzed from the wasit down. He went in for spine stablization surgery but there was no luck with the surgery, it is spine shivering when something like this. We should be thankful for today and never expect tomorrow, life can be taken from anyone at any second treasure the life you live.

"We miss 50 but we have to show up and still play," defensive tackle Javon Hargrave said. "We're just doing it for him right now."

California

This season’s wild fires with in the West part of the country have been just horrific. The air is constantly filled with smoke and ash causing it for residents to be breathing in toxic air. Although the Mayor of Californa has annouced that “This is a fire that is burning much less intensely,” there is still major effects to the towns and the people with in it. The fires may be lessening but the towns are still in mass danger for more wild fires. Residents will finally be allowed to return home and parking on narrow roads will be lifted. Pray for the familes in California that these wild fires do not carry throughout the Holiday season.

Christmas season

The christmas season is here, time for cheer and holiday lights and decorations. Most people will keep holiday lights on 24/7 not reaizing the danger that leaving them on for 24/7 all december long could bring. Reported early in the week a family in Tennesse’s home went up in flames in the middle of the night.

As great looking holiday lights are, lets stay safe this season by powering down our christmas lights during the night time and for that matter the day time becasue they wouldn’t be seen in the light anyway. Dont forget to power down tree lights too that is even more of a fire hazard real or fake.

Lavar Ball pulls Melo out of HS

While the Ball family has rose to fame, Lavar thought it was best to pull his youngest son LaMelo out of his Jr. year of high-school. Lavar says he will train his son himself in regards to his basketball talent and he will be homeschooled for his education. Coming with this news you have to ask if Melo wanted the same thing, he is now losing his social life at school and other valuable memories that teens will remember for the rest of their life. I hope this move works out for LaMelo as he will most likely continue his basketball career overseas to try to improve his skills.

Trump intervenes in China

Coincidentally president Trump was meeting with the president while the three basketball players were arrested for shoplifting. China has allowed the players to return to the states and according to Trump he discussed the matter with president Xi Jinping. We’re unsure on what would’ve happened to the players if Trump hadn’t intervened but thankfully all the players have returned home.

LiAngelo Ball

LiAngelo Ball, the middle brother of the notorious Ball family was recently apprehended in China. The UCLA star and two of his teammates were arrested for shoplifting at a Louis Vuitton store. This is a big deal for his career, and for his life. The laws in China are very different then the state and no one knows how this is going to play out. His older brother is currently a the starting PG of the LA Lakers and his younger brother is in China with him. Hopefully this doesn’t affect his potential as a basketball player and/or his life.

Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor makes headlines almost all the time, but this one isn’t a good one. It was recently reported that Conor got into a bar fight in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland and the opponents were connected with the Irish Mob. Multiple media sources have reported that there is a hit on Conor McGregor for $900k. Conor is the face of the fight game and a report like this is crazy, although as serious as these allegations are he was filmed saying “Come and get me.” Conor is an huge public figure and despite all he has gotten caught up in with in the fight game, another crazy headline had just been on. Conor McGregor is a man of mystery.

National Anthem

Many NFL players have begun a peaceful protest by kneeling during the national anthem. It was first started by former NFL player Colin Kaepernick in the midst of black lives matter. These protests have been taking over the news every week and has even caught the attention of our US president. I understand were these protests are coming from, but I dont believe kneeling is the right move. These NFL players are looked up to by children and are role-models for the up and coming generation, kids at school are now kneeling for the anthem after viewing this on television. NFL television ratings are dropping and some people refuse to even watch the NFL because of this. I’m looking forward to see if this transpires into any other professional sports this year.

Update on NBA 2K18

After days of no-response from 2k I contacted Xbox and had received a refund. Some players were fortunate enough to receive their players back to them with the same stats. 2k had release an update on the game to prevent this from happening again but many players were still very upset they did not have their character back. After a week 2k had finally realized that this bug had impacted too many players for them to assist and it would be near impossible to revive every persons profile. They decided to just simply refund all of the Virtual Currency on your deleted player and give and extra 50,000 for the troubles, even though I received a refund I was lucky enough to receive all the coins back from my first player without spending any money. Although players are still un-happy, this was the best 2k could do and I am definitely satisfied.

NBA 2K18

This weekend the highly anticipated basketball sports game was released, NBA 2K18. Many people were excited to begin the game and play the famous “MyCareer” mode where you can create your own basketball player and begin the journey to the NBA. The game has an option to purchase Virtual Currency to improve your player to generate more income even after you’ve spent $60 to purchase the game. Many players including myself had purchased Virtual Currency to upgrade our stats just for our players to be deleted! There is a known bug going around where your player just randomly gets erased and all your progress and cash goes out the window. 2k has been trying to give out a solution to everybody but because it has affected so many people, players like myself have been waiting for 3 days and not received any response. The game is very popular and many look forward to the release of it every year and it is a shame that it was released and there having such a big problem. After days of no response I finally decided to just dispute the charges with my bank and receive a refund, I hope they can work this out because it overall is a great game. Once everything is working fine I will still return to it!
