DJ Hype intro.
Idea board I on Flickr.
This is painting/ink/pencil work that I did in a series of Idea boards. They all started off as just a large sheet with ideas and doodles that I had been noting and then later layered with a series of washes and experiments with water color. Some have been given a wash of gesso. This one utilizes moving of the canvas to slowly push around and mix pure pigment watercolors.
Idea Board II on Flickr.
This is painting/ink/pencil work that I did in a series of Idea boards. They all started off as just a large sheet with ideas and doodles that I had been noting and then later I layered acrylic and watercolor painting. The acrylic in the center was initially a stop animation I did as I painted. It evolved slowly into cubic forms with multicolored panels.
beyond genetics on Flickr.
This is a monotype intaglio print I did with a komatex plate. It is an early piece and reflects my interests in physics and string theory related phenomenon.
Mandolinist in Hills on Flickr.
Here is a mixed media piece I did. It is somewhat autobiographical but mostly captures a time period. It reflects the running organic flowing of bluegrass inspired music at the time and this is how I remember it.

Minimal Meditations
This is a print I did via serigraphy/screenprint that involved a a photo stencil of a drawing and many experiments with stray screens and masking tape to create the ambient background of greys. This was a fun and meditative process that I came up with. I feel it goes well with the concept of meditative processes and would make a good wall piece for someone’s house or a coffeeshop of some kind.
Daily Transcendence
This is a experimental screenprint I did early on in my printmaking. I did this one with many layers. It has an element of meditation as related to Indian tradition. This is an expression of how I feel it is. The playfulness and blacklight effect were a style I had been experimenting with at the time.
The Shaman
This is one of my earliest intaglio prints I did here at utep. I still have the plate! I really like the idea of the shaman and especially at this time. This is how I would express what I have learned so far about the Shaman.
Looking Glass
I did this abstract piece starting with drypoint etching and then moving on to scrape and burnish and aquatint. I feel I really put a lot of time into this one and I love the results! This one incorporated Magnesium to bring out the whites!
Korn "Cover"
This is a piece I did one time for the KORN cover contest. I never submitted it and upon seeing the piece that won I was glad I didn’t! This one was about overcoming. It is mixed media and encorporated all sorts of ideas I was having at the time.
Ambulance Around this Brain...
This is a mixed media I found that I did way back. The Image is washed with a multitude of color flashes. The maps that made the backdrop were actual maps to parties that I collected.
The Unknown Muncher
Here is a small aluminum plate litho that I did of the unkown muncher. I came up with this little guy to be representative of my promotions in art and music. Long story short he is sort of a default for a promotion company.
Leave Home
This is a Lithograph I did a while back. I really like the richness of the print and how good the lighter drawing came out as well. The image is a little silly and fun but I think it really captured a spirit of what it can be like behind the scenes sometimes when you are young and ragin’!
